It's seems like I'm constantly hungry for information and knowledge. Lately, I've been working on my website.
It's time for me to learn what I'm doing with search engine optimization.
I could go to the library but I live in a small town where the topic I want to read about might be limited.
I decided to look for books on Amazon about SEO that have great reviews. There are plenty of kindle books out there where I wouldn't have to wait for the book to be shipped to me.
Then I decided to check the Youtube videos. I found several Youtube videos that could be very educational so I feel like I've hit the jackpot. They're free and I can learn when it fit's into my schedule.
Life is good.
Where do you go when you want to learn something new?
-
To the Internet because many books are obsolete or highly opinionated...plus they are
very time-consuming. Now, do not belief everything you see, read or hear. Use your personal
judgement to draw some conclusions.
-
I usually go to the library and ask a librarian. I guess I'm old-fashioned, but they tend to know the best places to search for info online, or, if there's a book on the topic I'm interested in that they could recommend.
-
If I know what it is that I what to learn I go to youtube.
-
go to the internet for information or to someone that already knows what I am looking for and also to the source. It seems like there is always something new and I like to keep up to a certain degree.
-
Like others the internet is my first choice when looking for something I need to learn. I only wish the internet was around when I was in school (showing my age here) because I honestly believe I would have been more interested.

online

Usually books or Wikipedia.
-
I usually go to the web or facebook
-
I go to books to learn about people, places and things.
Sometimes educational TV, biographies or documentaries can teach you all sorts of new things.
I check out youtube to learn how to do something myself. There is like EVERYTHING on there.

Oh gosh it depends on what I'm doing. I've become very close to Bing and youtube as well. I'm an avid DIY'er and if I can figure something out on my own (Even though it may take me 3x's as long) I'd rather do so .... having the knowledge is powerful. Things I tinkered with 20 years ago are now becoming the foundation of what I'm doing with myself these days.

I learn a lot on youtube

I use the internet

I go to the internet for everything. For example, I took my Jeep to Big O tires to put a universal directional on. They ended up not being able to do it and they knocked my brake lights out. They suggested that I take it to an automotive electric specialist that ended up quoting seven hundred dollars to do the job because they estimated that it would take six hours. I looked on line for the wiring schematics, determined that I could match up the wires to the new directional box, hook up the brakes and get it done in about three hours. My family will be out of town this weekend and I figured that I could attempt this undertaking on Sunday. There are also a few instructional You Tube videos that I can watch on Saturday night. Any time I have a question I jump on the internet and look at several sources.

Same here. Online videos on the web.

I search the net
oh yeah
but you have to do mad research because anyone can post things online

google

YouTube is my favorite source, but you do need to wade through a lot of unreliable junk to find the good stuff. Also just about the time you do find something that looks good, you discover it was posted many years ago, so make sure it's still current (or evergreen) before you rely on it.
I also use Google Search a lot, but then it helps to learn more about entering search terms that filter for the good stuff.
