Title: for those who believe in prayer

keep my husband and I in your prayers on Monday 8-21-17 as we testify in court against our abusers. we need strength. the abuser tried to hit my daughter and I with her car twice. so we are risking our lives to do what is right.

You are in my prayers and I hope that you are successful so that others do not have to go through the trauma that you are enduring. I have been saying prayers for a dear friend that lost his twenty one year old daughter last week. The funeral was very positive. My friend, and his wife, had spent six months with their daughter as she studied abroad (in France) and another six months in Spain while their daughter had completed an internship. This young lady was beautiful inside, and out, and was a miracle baby-my friend and his wife were deemed by the medical community as not being able to have children. My friend said that he was at peace and felt blessed for the time that they had spent. Everyone in attendance was encouraged to hug their loved ones today as they might not be their tomorrow.

Good for you!  Lots if people are afraid to do that.  Prayers are sent for you, good luck!

Praying for you Katie_thehappywife and your husband.  I'm a firm believer in prayer.  We get closer to our Lord when we pray.  It is by far the most powerful thing anyone can do for another.   I am also praying for the abuser... to seek therapy, medication & or treatment to aid them in the mental disability they are faced with in making such poor choices.

Sure do believe in prayer. I pray everyday. I will surely keep you and your family in my prayers. You are doing the right thing.
