Title: When do you start decorating for Halloween?

Autumn & Halloween is my favorite time I look forward to all year so I always get excited very early. I have a rule not to begin decorating before October 1, that's the best I can do to keep myself semi-reasonable (although nobody can stop me from being in the mental pre-planning phase nearly all year!). Do you decorate, and when?

I always start the middle of September. I love Halloween & enjoy the decorations as much as the kids do!

We don't do a lot of decorating for Halloween. At some point in October we will carve some pumpkins and put them out on the front steps.

i dont decorate for halloween and besides it is still august what happened to Labor Day

I wait until after Labor Day and then do fall decorating, no goblins until October.  But I love to put out all of the fall/harvest colors and decorations.

lol October is my birthday, that's my month. I decorate on Halloween day and take them down the very morning; it's like nobody knew that you decorate so much fun.  When my kids were small, I bought them so much decorations that they were able to play with them as soon I was able to find them at the Spirit and Walmart store, I loved those memories.

Halloween decorating is pretty easy for me.  I don't do it.  If I have kids one day, who knows, maybe I will decorate then.  But not so much for now.

We don't do it until a couple of weeks before Halloween. I just can't believe all the candy that are in stores right now just for Halloween. It has been here for a month already.

My daughter noticed the stores have Halloween decorations out, she said It's not Halloween. I explained they had to get the decorations out early so people could buy them in time to decorate for Halloween.

I don't celebrate Halloween nor do I decorate for it. But October is the time you would want to start decorating.

I don't decorate for Halloween or any other holiday.  I usually put up a tree for Christmas and that is the extent of it.

I don't really decorate for Halloween. I may carve a few pumpkins with the kids but that is pretty much it. I just do a fall theme that can carry over to thanks giving and decorate for Christmas after thanks giving.

My mom likes to decorate around first week of October.  It is my favorite holiday so it's never too early for me!

Actually haven't decorated for halloween or fall in years but I probably will this year.  The reason is previously lived in the country and didn't get any halloween activity anyway and sons were grown.  Now we live in a subdivision and I am looking forward to maybe having a pumpkin and some other decorations also will buy candy just in case we get trick or treaters this year.    :pumpkin:

I'm going to start decorating for Halloween the beginning on October.
I'm not trying to rush the holidays...  a little breather in September before the chaos season commences...

I do not do decorations for Halloween,I may purchase a little candy for the few children that live in our complex in case they knock on the door but that's about it.

i had a huge barn and farm i did about 5 acres  took about 3 weeks to get set up.

I don't decorate for Halloween any more since the kids are all grown.  I do still pass out candy but not to many kids left in the neighborhood.

I don't decorate for Halloween.All I do for Halloween is pass out candy and I might not even do that this year.Last year I had so few trick or treaters it wasn't worth my time.

I'm not decorating for the holidays this year. Divorce was just finalized. Just not feeling in the holiday spirit.
