Hi
When I first became a member, almost 2 yrs ago I think, the videos were fun.
You watched a commercial, or short video, and got 3-5 cents, It was fun, encouraging...could get the PTC fairly easily.
Now, the videos are laborious. Often involving social media. Or maybe taking a long process to earn 1 cent. 12 videos for 1 penny is not drawing me in.
May I suggest occasionally getting more of those back? It encouraged folks to stick with it long haul.

You know, overall I have to agree with you. Watching these lengthy videos that continue for more than 3 or 4 minutes for a single cent is not especially motivating. However, I think the problem is advertisers who do not want to pay more. For example, I don't know why VideoLab can't pay a cent for every 7 or 8 videos that you watch, and if needed, block you after you have earned maybe 10 cents in any one day.

I agree that things have changed... I don't even make money as fast as I used to... Somehow struggling cashing out lately.
Definitely agree that we need more fun stuff :D

Times change and that's OK. I learned how to take the minimal amount I earn on a few sites like this and use it to pay a subscription to tools I need anyway, so I can add passive income that adds up a lot faster. I have been doing it for a couple of years now, so I know it's here to stay.

I agree things have changed, but I guess it's like time nothing stays the same; we live in a constantly changing world and it seems we are always having to adjust to something new before we can master what we currently have. But yes, would be nice to have some of the fun videos back, let's hope it happens.

Speaking of the old, fun videos, does anyone remember the ones for Ford Escape that had the funny girl and the guy who came with the car?
It was a riot! It also made me want that car for a while. :-[

Yes I tend to agree. I refuse to do 99% of the ones that require being shared on social media. Half the time I never know if they are actually going to pay anyhow. It's just not worth it to me.

The thing is, there are plenty of people (including me) who will gladly do the 12 videos for a penny jobs and who have established a pattern and market for that pay scale, so there is no reason for advertisers to suddenly become generous and pay more for less work.
In my mind, on FC at least - it is more about hitting the daily minimum 5¢ mark to get the additional 15¢ PTC each day. Sometimes I am unable to hit on a survey, so instead I focus on just getting that minimum mark. The 12 videos for a penny can be tedious to have to click through all 12 videos, but they are passive clicks where you don't have to give it your full attention (like you do a survey). I just do those in a separate tab or window while I read the news on another window. Stop at the end of reading one paragraph and click over to the next sequence on FC, then return to my news article. It takes longer, but I'm not really losing any time over it.
I've seen similar arguments on other sites and apps - but ultimately the advertisers will pay as low as they can while still getting the same rate of clicks. What they paid 5 or 10 (or 2) years ago (or how much they required us to click through for the same penny) is no longer relevant as more and more of us willingly do the longer work for the same pay.

Yes I tend to agree. I refuse to do 99% of the ones that require being shared on social media. Half the time I never know if they are actually going to pay anyhow. It's just not worth it to me.
It only takes a few seconds to share on social media, so I do it in a heartbeat to an account I set up just for sharing.

I agree things have changed but don't get discauged keep trying. And may the advertiser will come to their senses. In the meantime trying working on your surveys to make up for what you lost
