Title: power outage
Post by: Gerianne on September 09, 2017, 07:51:46 am
We expect the power to be out for a few days after Irma....maybe a week.
WE have plenty of food and water.
I think we'll have turkey sandwiches until we get tired of it and then, I think we'll just be glad to have food.

Just be safe, you can always eat whatever you want when the power is back.

Even though I have food, I still would want to get out and get food, but those conditions I'd have to pass!

If  we had a power outage,  our freezer would go out on us and all I have is an electric  cook stove. In the house. But I do have a camp stove I can use outside and a bbq grill. Also as long as I have wood I would  have the wood stove too and I can cook on it if I have  too. But  with all of the rain they are having I doubt if much would be dry. I just feel for all of them, And thankful I live where I live.  I may gripe about the hot dry weather, then think about what they are going through and then I am thankful for  the dry weather her. We all  have something  to be thankful for. /Sometimes just have to dig for it.

We need incorruptible outdoor equipment that therefore cannot be affected by any serious weather conditions.

I live in North East Georgia Mountains and we are supposed a lot of wind and rain from this Hurricane. A lot of Gas Stations are are out of gas and Grocery Stores are out of the normal milk and bread. I pray to our Father it is not going to be as bad as they think it is. :angel11:
