She will always be that sweet baby and little girl no matter how old she gets.

Enjoy because they grow up so fast. I looked around and my boys had become men. I was like where did the time go.

Happy birthday to your daughter. Just remember that even though they get older they will all be mommy and daddy's little girl forever

I too have a 17 year old. He will be turning 18 in less than a month. I'm so proud of this guy. I remember when the Dr. said it's a boy... I was thinking. What do I do with him? I already had a daughter... figured a girl would have been simple to raise. Turns out my son (although trying as a child) was easier than ever to raise. Unlike my oldest daughter who couldn't wait to spread her wings and fly... he's a nervous wreck. Happy Birthday to you daughter.

My youngest just went off to college...uggghhh. My daughter is oldest and I have no worries at all with her except that she will work herself to death. In addition to being on the deans list at one of the top engineering colleges in the country she is in a sorority, has a research job and plays DII soccer. She blessed us with a full academic ride and calls us at least once a week. My son got good grades in his junior and senior year but struggled his first two so his cumulative grade point average brought down the amount on his academic scholarship. He had athletic scholarship offers at five schools but decided on the one school that did not have a team. He came home on the weekend two weeks ago but communicates on a less than regular basis. I will be happy when he takes a more serious approach to life.
