When you expect nothing (and i don't mean join the dark side of negativity) when you expect nothing, then just about everything that comes your way is a surprise and hopefully, more pleasant than not.
....and that is what has happened to me twice this month.. the first time was last week when i was credited $12.00 that was offered to me last month as an additional incentive on a survey.. I sure didn't expect to get that so when it boosted my account, I was super overjoyed.
Well then, today, I clicked on a survey that was offering something over a dollar.... I was disqualified after a few pages of questions but OMG!, I walked away with .58 cents!!!
Oh wait, I said twice I've been pleasantly surprised, well i just remembered that 58 cent surprise as i wrote this so that's an add on... So really, it's been three times this month.....
.....so after I finished that disqualification, i attempted a few more surveys, 1 cent here and 4 cents there....
It was time to rinse my hair dye out of my hair, so I clicked to refresh my account and see my balance and it was way more than I thought it should be......
.....so upon further investigation, i see that there were 4 delayed payments from live sample surveys from July and August!!! that added $2.80 to my account,,, Just like that!!!
Expect nothing and everything is exiting... and yes, this all happened in the time it took to touch up my roots... hahahhaaha (and the hair dye was a free sample i got in the mail from doing a survey)
WINNING!!!

Yeah that is true

I also had a delayed survey credit, but mine was just 70c. But still, I'll take it!
-
I love it when that happens!
-
It does help to expect noting, but is sometimes hard to actually do! I recently had a survey pay about 15 days after finishing it.
-
Wow that's awesome! Yep, it's always a really nice surprise when you discover a payment you weren't expecting! I did a live survey today that appeared to lead to nowhere, so hopefully I'll find something in my account in the near future from that. :)

I did a survey here to didn't get all the way but got 58 cents. silly how we get happy about little things. Now my plumber bill was 389.00 not so silly about that or happy.

I had one that finally credited after telling me that the system had an internal error after I finished the survey.

Very true. Love when I get credited for more than expected...especially more than 1c

It's nice to have those kinds of surprises! The twelve dollar one must have been exciting. I'm a great believer in the law of attraction, so I am not in the habit of focusing on expecting nothing, but I see your point. Whatever works!
-
I suppose that is one way to look at it but I do not want to go through life expecting nothing. I want to have the attitude that if I put the work into something I expect something back in return.
-
If you like the element of surprise then I guess your perspective is a good way to always feel that element of surprise in your life. I like genuine surprises and not because I am conditioning my mind for whatever comes my way. Definitely like to feel like I have so input into my destiny.

So very true! I did not think (had resigned to waiting another month) that I would get enough videos to qualify for enough paid to clicks in order to meet my non cash balance requirements-needed to cash out. I just finished six videos which will allow me to cash out upon finishing my paid to click tomorrow. Yay!! This is my thirty first post which means that I can also apply for my funding bonus as well. Kind of works that way in most aspects of life. I work as hard as I can every day with out any expectation of reward or praise. Last week my daytime job gave me a nice little monetary present and last weekend I was assigned the easiest project (on my second job) allowing me to make really good money for my family! I hope that these nice happenings do not spoil me or cause me to expect these things in the future.
-
It's great when that happens, I often forget about delayed surveys not crediting right away; move on to another one and am always surprise and thankful when they do appear, so I guess that's a good way to think when using FC site.

I also had a delayed credit for live sample and the $12.00 SSI incentive as well.

So live sample actually works? I did one and it said something about a sweepstakes entry, but I wasn't credited any cash.

When you put forth the effort and maintain a reality check with the expectations, these are the things that can and do happen.
I know this because it happens to me regularly and I celebrate - double fist pump over head with my cats looking at me as though I've gone totally nuts. :cat: :cat: :cat:
Congrats to you. Keep up the great work.

I have that attitude, too. When I work for cents, I want those cents. I'm sure no one on FC decided they don't care if they do the work and don't get their credit/$$. People don't work a regular job for nothing. They expect to be paid at the end of the week. Same goes for these survey sites.

I don't like them, but they are a reality
