It is getting close to Halloween. What do you like to do around this time of year?  :pumpkin:

This is the time of year that I love to get out and work in my yard.  I am not a fan of Halloween.

I enjoy decorating my house & seeing what others do with their yards in terms of decorations. I love looking at all the new Halloween decorations stores put out.

I used to trick or treat but there's too many things to do... I save the dressing up for comic cons and such

I LOVE this time of the year!  I like to watch football and scary movies!   I also will carve a jack-o-lantern.  I hope to be at a Halloween party too!

I'm excited about the holidays this year.  I already filled my candy jar with candy corn :)

I like decorating the house & eating holiday foods. The weather is still in the 90s, so still sort of summer.  & now we are getting the fires ... yeah, fall

I'm not a big fan of Halloween.  It's nice and cute to see the little kids come trick-o-treating but I don't like it when the teenagers come.  They're so loud and disrespectful, making loud noises late at night.

I love Halloween!  My Grandmother had this tradition of buying those little Lemax figures and setting up a spooky display inside.  She left her figures and houses to me.  My father built me a folding table and I bought these moss covered styrophome boards.  I cover the table with them making hills/mountains then each section of the hill has a different horror scenario.  The top of the hill I usually place my grandmother's castle which is a dance hall that has different monsters dancing around to disco music.  The middle section of the hill has a gathering of monsters with monster vendors.  The bottom of the hill are monster kids going trick or treating.

On Halloween night we used to turn off our porch light and not answer the door. Nowadays there's not enough kids in the neighborhood who actually trick or treat, so we're off the hook. I never liked Halloween when I was a kid. But my brother would go out trick or treating and get a huge bag of candy and share it with me. So it was all good! :pumpkin:

I no longer do anything for Halloween, I live in a rural area and have for about 12 years, the first two years I lived here I decorated, went out and bought candy and never had one kid either year. So I dont bother anymore.

I stay home and watch tv

Watch scary movies and candy of course :) Wish I could still go trick or treating. I can still pass for a high school student, I guess I could always attempt it, haha.

I love Halloween but for the past 7 years I have had to work. Maybe one year Ill get off. Last year my co workers and I went to a couple of haunted houses when we got off work. Hoping we will be able to do that again this year.

I don't celebrate the thing. It has no good purpose! We should call this the fall festival and give the children a candy hunt and fair instead.

Dressing up in costumes aren't for people who believe in worshiping the unknown, my church doesn't let it's members dress up for Halloween, we give out candy on All Saints day, not to people dressed up in costumes.

I love buying fall items, especially pumpkin and spice scented candles. I have them all over the house and they smell good and they get you in the mood for the holiday season.
