I have had an apple tree but the fruit always ends up a bit odd shaped, not easy to grow one! Happy Johnny Appleseed Day! Do you feel apples are good for you? I like apple sauce too. Have a gr8 day :present: !
-
no i don't , if i had a big yard i would'nt mind having one. there a lot of work to handle . they fall off the tree , in the yard . your left picking them up . but its always , good so you can take them to shelter or food pantry
-
No apple tree here but I can drive an hour or so from my house to go to some great apple farms.
-
I have had apple trees in the past and lightning always hits them.
-
Yes, I have one remaining apple tree (I used to have four, but they died from disease).
-
I don't have an apple tree or any other type of fruit-bearing tree. I wish I did though. We have a large back lot where I could plant as many trees as I'd want but we also have deer that graze on that lot nearly every day so I doubt fruit trees would survive.
-
No apple tree but there are some apple tree farms where we could go pick our own for a family adventure.
-
No. I don't have an apple tree, I wish. I'm so sorry that we didn't plant fruit trees esp avocados when I first moved in this house. We planted pine trees... lol
-
No apple tree here and not close by either
-
I don't have apple trees, I've only seen crabapple tree around here. Their flowers are so pretty in the Spring.
-
No but I wouldn't mind having one.
-
I wish I had a apple tree, I really love apple, but only the hard granny smith ones.
-
i have a pecan tree in my back yard, and next door to me is a pear tree
-
I have an apple tree but it gets these strange worms on it and then the fruit is no good. I do love apples though. Every year my family gets apples from a local orchard and we make apple pie.
-
no apple tree, but I love eating apples....
-
No i dont . But would be nice to have.
-
We don't have any but a neighbor does and we are lucky to be friends with them and they always give me a bushel or two, they also donate a lot of them to a food bank which is great. Another neighbor has three large pecan trees and she is not able to rake the leaves and pick all of them up. So we go and help do it, sometimes while she is gone we really go at it. When she comes home me may have 5-8 bushel of nuts picked up. Then she has them cracked and a lot of the shells fall off, but I still have to go through them to get a lot of the shell picked out as she can't see them. She gives a lot of them and I store themin my freezer for ages while I use them up. I am so grateful for great neighbors.

No apple trees but an apple orchard not to far from me
-
I don't have any fruit trees. The only trees we have are cypress and pine trees. Ill bet it is nice to have fruit trees.
-
No apple tree here but it would be very cool to have one.
-
I do not have an apple tree. We go to an apple orchard to pick apples every year. I like to pick the apples for eating and usually by a bag or two of "seconds" (apples that have fallen) and use those to make apple butter.
This year we took our 2 year old grandson.
-
I have 2 apple trees, 2 pear trees, and a peach tree.
-
I've tried but either the birds or bugs or something always gets to the tree so they really don't bear good enough apple to eat. I just gave up after a while and just buy my stuff at the market.
-
I do but birds usually get to them before I do
-
yes i have one in the back yard.
-
No but I'd like to have some fruit trees. I've planted some young ones but they tend to die off before they get to fruit bearing age and it's not cheap to keep trying.
-
Ready to pick some fresh apples :P
-
I did when I was a kid. Nothing like an apple fresh picked from the tree.
-
We don't have an apple tree, but I would really like to have one someday.
-
We use to have a bunch of them but we got them all cut down now. As they get older they just don't produce very well and it is a lot of work picking up a million apples every year.
-
I would love to have an apple tree in my yard! We've only got one tree, and it's an elm -- no fruit there. I'm not a huge apple fan, but my youngest son loves them. I pack a really big apple in his lunchbox every day, and he never gets tired of them.
-
I used to have an apple tree on my property but it died and had to be chopped down. It had really tiny not-so-tasty apples on it anyways. Now when we want apples we drive into southern NY State to a town called Waldwick that has loads of apple farms nearby. We can pick our own apples of several different varieties there.
-
I had a summer apple tree when I lived in my hometown, that was over a decade ago. It was nice but I prefer red apples.
-
I currently have a pecan tree in my front yard. I've decided to gift neighbors bags of pecans instead of the usual holiday gift bags I usually give. Should be appreciated- pecans are expensive.
-
I had an apple tree and crab apple tree but the deer always came and ate them. I cut both down last year.
-
I wish, I live in an apartment.
-
I have about an acre and a half of apple and pear tees. They are pretty well shaped. The have a very good taste. I live in the country with about 25 acres. I let my neighbors come a pick them some too. :monkey:
-
i have 2 apple trees that we planted a couple of years ago...want to plant more
-
No, But I have a ton of other trees in my front yard and back yard even small ones as well.
-
We had an 2 apple trees in our yard when I was younger. They were green apples and mom used to make pies with them.
-
Yes we do! Made a lot of applesauce and pies this year!
-
Dont have no apple tree in y area at all
-
Don't have no apple tree in my area at all. I am sure down south they have much more.
-
Where I live, I don't think the soil just right for it. Too many chemicals and too many others to name for growing trees of any type.
-
No I don't have any fruit trees. I'd love to have an avocado tree but I don't live in the climate for it.
-
We used to have an apple tree a few years ago. It was so much fun to gather and eat those apples, but alas, the tree died. I'm not sure what happened to it. But then, we had a peach tree come up from a seed, just randomly. We didn't plant it! Some years it has lots of peaches, but somehow, they never develop into edible peaches. I guess we need lessons on growing fruit trees.
-
I tried to plant apple seeds numerous times. Did not work at all. I am not even trying anymore. :-\
-
I have no fruit trees but wish I knew how to keep them alive or free of disease.
-
I don't, but I wish I had my own garden. I live in an apartment building and there's just nowhere to really put it. If I did it outside my front door, I couldn't trust anything grown in it because my neighbors would tamper with it.
-
I would love to have an apple tree, although I know someone who has one, and they are not apples like at the store. Little and wormy at times. Maybe would not be quite what I'm thinking.
-
No I do not, but my friend does and it makes a mess all over the place, don't really want one after seeing that.
-
no but i use too,,,it attracted alot of bees
-
I bought a tree from a discount store a few years ago. Turned out it was an apple tree that produces tart green apples. I had apples until the squirrels found out and now every year they take a bite out of each apple and throw it on the ground. I really hate squirrels. :sad1:
:fish:

I had an apple tree in the back yard but cut it down a few years ago. The deer would come and get a good meal and also eat the crab apples. We had a lot of trees cut down because they would fall during storms.
-
I don't have one yet. But I'm planning on getting one soon
-
I used to have an apple tree but the apples on it were pretty small and pitiful looking. I certainly never ate one. The tree finally died and we took it down. Apples are very good for you though and I usually eat one just about every day but they come from a Farmers Market.
-
We don't have apple trees but have fig bushes. Which is great for some but I don't like figs lol. Love apples and applesauce. Wish we did have apple trees, would be great to have around.
-
I don't I live in an apartment. I wish I had.
-
I don't have an apple tree, but it would be really awesome to have one.
-
I plan to get a Apple tree as soon as I get another place
-
I've never had any kind of fruit tree but I've always wanted one
-
We don't have an apple tree, but we had two at our first home.
I had two small children at the time. We used to pick the apples, load the Radio Flyer red wagon and walk around the block and neighborhood to give apples away.
We also made applebutter for gifts.....Sunday School teachers, school teachers, family.
-
My sister-in -law churns apples every year and makes cider. I think that would be fun and good ;D
-
No, I don’t have an apple tree of my very own, but I sometimes wish I did. Steve Jobs loved apples (probably his favorite fruit). That’s why his technology company is called “Apple.”
-
yes i have 2..we planted last year...even had my 1st apple off it before the end of the season last year...
-
No, I don't have an apple tree. I really want one though. Hopefully when I move into a house with a big back yard, I will be able to have an apple tree along with a peach tree.
-
I'm also interested in harvesting my own food
I have no fruit trees but wish I knew how to keep them alive or free of disease.
-
yes
-
I used to have an apple tree and i like apples! I eat them almost every day.
-
Still no apple tree, but i love drinking apple juice...
-
No I don't have an apple tree, but I wish I did. My grandparents had apple, pear, pecan trees. They also had grapevines. I miss them so much. When I was growing up we had apple and cherry trees.
-
We don’t have an apple tree. We are blessed to have an avocado tree. :in-love: I love apples too. You know your apples are organic because they are not perfectly shaped. At least they are not grown with pesticides.
-
No, but every time i shop for apples, I'm always attracted to the ones with weird shapes & tend to buy the odd *bleep*!
-
No I don't. Anything I grow just dies. Don't have the green thumb of my grandparents that owned a fruit stand.
-
no i don't have apple tree, but i would love to have one. but its , to me might be a lot of work .
-
Nah, I'm not the biggest fan of apples. I just like apple cider haha
-
i dont have an apple tree or know anyone who has one
-
I don't have any trees where I live now and I have never owned an apple tree. The only fruit tree I've ever had was a plum tree at the first house I ever owned back in the 80's.
-
Yes my Dad grew one out in our yard but Dad is gone now and I don't know how to maintain it :( I miss you Daddy <3
