Since you don't say where you live, not many could help you. Internet service is extremely geographic. I would use your slow connection and search google for "Internet Service 97224", but you could try it with your own zip code.

I'm in MD and I use Exceede through Direct Tv.  I only got it to get away from Verizon.  I hate them with a passion however I am going back to them in March once my two years is up.  Satellite sucks every time it's windy or rainy it goes out.  It's more expensive.  I've never had any problems with Verizon I just hate that they are such a monopoly.

I don't have internet at home. Haven't had it in 6 months and frankly don't miss it very much. I have an unlimited data plan on my phone and just use my smart phone for everything internet-related while at home.

I use Century Link. Not particularly happy with the service, particularly because I have been experiencing a lot of crashes lately. But que sera sera. I am planning on transferring to Comcast in the near future.

Had Hughes net while we lived in the country, but now we live in the city, it was the worst, very slow download speed, took almost 15 minutes for the page to open up, but they are some that in the city that doesn't have a fast download either. they tell you it downloads fast, but it over time doesn't.

CenturyLink is an Internet provider that is mostly available in the Pacific Northwest (e.g., Washington State, Oregon).

I have Verizon and I always had pretty good luck with them. When we first got Verizon there was a problem but the last 5 years or so it has been fine for the most part.

Has anyone heard about the end of internet neutrality?

Thought this might be a good question here.

It worries me.
