I used to watch his show when I was growing up.
Some people are only remembered for that one thing that they did in their life.
Yet, I am sure he did more than host a tv show.

I used to watch "Let's Make a Deal" as well when I was growing up. Monty Hall was a great game show host! He made the whole premise of that show what it is today. It's weird, though, having all the icons from when I was growing up dying in their 90s, for the most part, especially over just the past few years. RIP, Monty.

I remember this show and had forgotten Monty Hall RIP

I had forgotten about Monty although I use to watch him and his show quite frequently. One thing I learned from the news is that he was very philanthropic and did a lot of charity work. The news quoted a figure regarding how much he helped raise and I can't remember it right now, but it was quite a bit of money. He lived a long life and it sounds like he was a charitable man. Good for him! RIP, Monty.
