New England Patriots send Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2nd round pick, he was the back up to Tom Brady.

Huge gamble for the 49ers for a QB who has only played 50 snaps in the NFL. The Patriots could've gotten a 1st rounder if they had traded him before the season started. They waited too long.

Not much of a gamble. It's only a 2nd round pick.
