I think the fact you got stuff from your mom.... you are very rich !

I'm doing nothing this year. I have all the decorations in boxes, but I feel like it's something more to do with a family. If you're like me and alone, there's really not much point in decorating, unless you yourself are going to appreciate the work. I'd rather just be lazy and relax.

I love real Christmas trees. I love the smell it leaves in my house.

We still put up the real Christmas tree, agree it is very messy taking it down. Over the years we have acquired some train sets and some village houses and we put them up right after thanksgiving. It is a lot of work but it is fun.

I used to do a lot of decorating and had many Christmas decorations. However, my children are long grown and gone with their own homes. The last 7-8 years I have just not had much interest in doing nearly as much as I used to and I finally went through all my Christmas decor and got rid of approximately half of it. I think I could still get rid of a bit more.
I still put a few things out. I kept my more expensive and nice things and I rotate about 9 or 10 of them each year. I don't put up a real tree (quit about 20 years ago) but sometimes put up a 3 foot tall artificial tabletop one. I just don't want to put it all away again too. It used to take me an entire day to put everything away nicely. Just too old-Mature! LOL- to bother anymore. A little is plenty now!!

I love the feel and smell of a real tree, but some years I just don't have it in me to go through the work. I have a little artificial one that holds me over just fine.

I don't have a style. I really don't do much decorating for any season.

We have a nice looking artificial tree. I let the kids decorate most of the time.
Some years it is just gold *bleep* and beads with lights. Some years it is done up with the Hallmark ornaments we accumulated over the years.

Do not use real trees because I really do not like smell. I do put 2 trees and one is all Disney and the other is full ornaments that have been collected over 34 years. My kids keep telling me to scale back but I love Christmas

same old stuff. I have not had a real tree in years

I love decorating for Christmas, but I hate un-decorating. So I keep that in mind when I'm in the process of putting things up. I have an artificial tree and lots of ornaments I've collected over the years. And I have a massive Snow Village set.

I like simple and uncluttered for Christmas decorations

I don't have a style because I don't decorate.

We always have a real tree. We usually get one of those tree bags to put under the tree (put the skirt on top of it so it's not seen). Makes it easier to get the tree out of the house. Once out we take it out of the bag and put it in the back of our property to let it decompose. Santa Claus is my style. Have Santa ornaments all over the house. We love decorating outside too. It's getting more difficult as we get older but I'm just not ready to give it up yet. Takes more time to decorate and then take down but I can't not do it yet.

I love fresh trees too. I have the coolest front entry door, I love to decorate it for the holidays, every year is different. :angel11:

I have a fake tree. Most of my ornaments are older. I don't have a style. I use what I like and don't care if it is a theme or matches or if anybody else likes it.

No particular style, I keep it very basic and simple, if we put up anything it's just a small table top artificial tree; when I was younger and before I retired I would decorate big time, live tree the outside with all the trimmings, lights etc. now to be honest I can just put a wreath on the front door and call it a day; no longer have that energy or desire to deal with all of that, but I do enjoy riding around and admiring other people's decorations!

I love decorating for Christmas. I don't have any specific style so I do different themes in different rooms.
