Passion IS love.  I only wish the world could show it more then maybe there would be less hate in the world.

To me passion and love are two different things - they may occur simultaneously in the beginning and/or for many years but after awhile passion wans but love should still remain.  This is just the opinion of one married 34 years until my husband passed.

To me passion is more of a feeling or emotion. Over time it can fade, but love is more than just a feeling it is an action. Love is sticking around through good times and bad.

Passion is yearning, not love

You wont find a better definition of love......

“Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”—1Co 13:4-7.

To me passion is the feeling of the unknown that moves you to another height that you cannot describe.  Its like being in love with the feeling more than the person.

Hello! :D :)

Passion and love are two different things you can have a huge passion for this very attractive women, men but don't love them. Passion is more driven by lust while love is more practical and becomes stronger with time. However, you can love and be passionate about your significant other nonetheless the passion may wind down and be completely replaced by love. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Passion and love to me are two different emotions entirely. I love my boyfriend dearly, but he is incapable of passion. That doesn't mean i love him less.

I completely agree with this opinion.  The two are not the same.  Passion is more often driven by lust while love is a deeper, more enduring emotion. Love develops from trust, feeling safe, sharing, commonalities, etc.  Passion usually wanes with time although with deep love there may be "bursts" of it throughout a relationship.

Passion and love are two entirely different things. Love is what you are left with when all of the butterflies, sweaty palms, and heart racing have passed. If you still want to be with that person after the initial attraction or "honeymoon" is over, that is love.

You can be passionate about someone, and not be able to stand them. You can love someone with all of your heart, but not feel passion for them.

Two different things. You can have passion for someone you love, but sometimes love is very simple. Not based around the world stopping when the two of you are together. It can be a familiarity and a common bond.

Passion is not love.  Someone can make love to you who can be very passionate, but necessarily love you.  It happens a lot and I think that is why people get hurt in relationships.
