Sadly, I had two (2) hideously nasty years in a row. Why was this year hardly any better than last year was for me? Because not many fewer famous people died, bed bugs invaded the apartment building I live in making the Community Room and garbage shoot locked since autumn, and it still had been a while before my finishing recovery from anxiety.

Last 2 years for my family have been bad also. Sure hope 2018 is much better

This year has been better for me than most in the past. For all that have been having a hard time I hope 2018 is better for you.

This year goes by so fast along with the many disappointments in my family. The lost of a love one is never easy to handle but as time goes by thing gets better. 2017 very sad year for me.

It started out pretty rocky but has slowly gotten better. I am looking forward to a good year next year .. I'm ready for 2018.

This year have really been hard for me, I lost my brother and his wife. Last year 2016 I lost my father so I am praying for a good year in 2018. I thank the lord for me and my family my kids and my husband that we have been as healthy as we can.

Its been very good to us. My and my husband have a good earning this year. We have a chanced to visited my family especially my mother in the Philippines for her 82th birthday. Pretty good for us mentally, healthy and happy. Please Lord continue and Bless us more this coming year. Thank you.!!

very badly is putting it mildy. my husbands evil family wanting to harm us, crooked judges and lawyers wanting to harm us, a shady landowner pocketing the money we paid him for the land and lying to say he never got it, us hating our state wanting to leave. pretty much sums it up

I'm sorry to hear of the past years not being good to you but I must say that I have had many blessings that started in 2016 and some that were not so good but I take it with a grain of salt and just pray that things will go the way they should. Just put your path in Gods hand and the Universe takes care of the rest. :)

2013 was certainly the worst year ever for me.
Things have been slowly turning around and getting better.
Although lately it seems like with everything good that happens some setback also happens.
But then again in 2017 I will have made like $16,000 plus dollars and this is the first time I have made this much in a year. when I was with my ex-husband I didn't need a job that made a lot of money
But now I am the main money maker of the family and I am very determined to make as much as I can and to keep advancing. I have my first ever job that offers bonuses and pay raises. Sometimes the little things are the best.
in 2016 I was admitted to the psch ward which was a turning point in my life. I am now getting the help that I need with counseling and my DBT classes which have been a blessing

This year has been extremely rough & hoping 2018 will be better for my family & myself.

We've had a few bumps in the road but when I look around I have to feel fortunate. We have a roof over our head, food to eat, a dog and a cat to share out love with so all in all I don't feel I should complain. There are always those that are worse off than me so I'm grateful for my little world.

I had some medical challenges, but still looking at the right side of the grass. I am pretty sure I am entering the last decade of my life, but my foot is not coming off the pedal until I reach the end of my journey.

All my years leading up to 1996 were seriously lousy. Don't want to get into all that happened, but let's just say I made a lifetime's worth of horrible decisions. Then, in 1996, everything turned around for me. That was the year I got married to my wonderful husband. In 1997 and 1999, I gave birth to our two fabulous sons. And every year since then has been really great, including 2017! :thumbsup:

Absolutely awesome year for me! I hit all but three goals and one of them was only missed by two dollars and thirty five cents. I found new streams of income, increased production at both full time jobs and my part time job, and I see my children more now, that they are at college, then I did when they lived at home. With the kids safely off to school I have begun my honey do list and things are getting done around the house. We are spending less money on the house and more on retirement. We have started fixing up my son's car which was somewhat of a lemon. I have a feeling that he will get my daughter's car, my daughter will get my wife's car and My wife will get a new car...leaving me with my son's car-yet another good reason for fixing it up!

The past 3 years I have lost family members. But in 2017, everyone is alive and well. For that I'm grateful and consider it to be a very good year.

I had a fire in Feb that completely burned down our garage and damaged half our house. Pretty much everything was wrecked. Thankfully we got out with our animals. Then our contractor turned out to be a crook and quit leaving us 30 days to do a LOT of work before the insurance company quit paying for the apt they put us in. We had several family and friends that took time off and came up to help us. And it all came out of our pocket.
After many months of stress and crowding and arguing with adjusters and our contractor and loads of work, we finally got back in here nov 30. And the garage still isn't done. And we're in a lawsuit with the contractor.
So, here's to 2018...may it please be better!

I'm not complaining - things could always be a lot worse and for the most part it's been a pretty simple, satisfying year. Had an expensive break down with automobile in October - That's an easy recovery. We have a roof over our heads, healthy hearts and food in our bellies. Jobs are secure. Another child graduating (early) and moving onto adulthood readily. Found a church. Moving onto 2018. #Blessed.

This year has been good & I foresee 2018 being even better (hopefully - crossing my fingers)
I've had the challenging years & just kept onward & upwards thinking, & today I reap the rewards... but take nothing for granted.
Here's to a positive 2018 for all of us! :)

I am so grateful that this was a pretty good year for me. There were some struggles but overall, I am happy and I thank God for that :)

Well I had a bad breakup in 2016, so 2017 had to be better, and it was. A lot less stress and drama

The last 4 years have been the pits for me, but i'm going to leave that all behind and make it a good 2018 if it kills me.

Hubby and I are weird. Ever since 1980, we've had bad luck in "even" years (80, 82, 84, 86, 88 etc.) and has never stopped. Family members have died in even years, we lost jobs in even years, our home was flooded to the point we had to rebuild higher on a hill, we've been hospitalized in even years for serious surgeries and so on.
I dread 2018. I hope things will be different but I doubt it.

I think 2017 ended up being a good year for me. Celebrated being married for 25 years in California which was a highlight.

My 2017 has been up and down. I have had a few family members pass away, my health has gotten a little worse and I ha another grand child. I really don't think it was a bad year but parts of it could have been better. ;D

Wow almost sounds like my stuff with Layers and judges!! And my fight with the affordable care act for 3 years, don't come to Minnesota it's bad here too...

2017 started good for me until May7th. I lost my last child at age 28 when she decided to commit suicide. Things are really bad for me around the holidays So 2017 is ending on a sore note. I miss my children especially the last one. She was my youngest She left me with a broken heart and soul.

This year hasn't been too bad for me. It has gone way to fast though.

2017 certainly could have been worse, but it wasn't the best. I did, however, get out of a toxic work environment and into a much better one. Income is up and debt is down. Keep on keepin on!

This year wasn't necessarily bad but it wasn't particularly good either. That's just life no year is ever going to go perfectly, you will always have your ups and downs. My suggestion is don't think of your year as good or bad rather as a challenge, that way if you didn't accomplish all you needed there is always next year provided that you make it. If you are able to make it feel bless! You had a bad year because famous people, people you did not even know died? As for bed bugs, that is what happens when you let who ever come in to the country and there are no regulations. They bring their diseases and bugs and whatever else with them. We need to do like the other countries and regulate who comes in. You want to come that is fine but do it legally.
Anyway, back on track, it has been a good year over all. Yeah there have been bad things that have happened the past couple of years but it is not something that has or will ruin my life.

My mother has had an even-numbered year trauma of her own.

My dad and one of my dogs died 5 days apart in April. So this year can officially suck it.

This year hasn't bee a good one for me. Actually, there have been very few good years but, like someone else said, I do still have a roof over my head even though it's falling apart and food in the house.
