Oh my goodness, the largest raise since 2012 and I netted a whole $2. It is such a rip they give us a raise and then increase the medicaid. To be honest I am surprised I even got the $2. LOL oh well don't spend it all in one place as my Grandmother would say.

I've been working part-time and expected an increase. It was $2.00 per month extra. Woo hoo! My dreams have come true!
But my SS was already cut in half because of my state pension. Illinois rips off everyone. :crybaby2: Such is life.

my parents did

I don't think I even got one.

I got my raise, $2.00 a month, and my Medicare increased, so I have less than I did last year. Love the way this country takes great care of their senior citizens.
-
My husband got one but they raised the Medicare payment and the prescription drugs. So,he'll get 14.00 more dollars. Medicare went from 107 to 134 the drug one from 17 to 20. Think it's through Aetna.

I got $6. I'm not looking forward to the next time they send the stack of forms to look at my disability again.
-
My husband did a whole two dollars and his supplement insurance went up $36.00 a month.
-
I have to find out what my mom is getting, though she said she was expecting an increase.
-
It is called COLA-"Cost of living adjustment".
Some years we get it...other years we do not.
-
I am only on partial Soc. Sec. I took it early to help my son raise his kids.
It has gone up $11 because of the cost of living increase.....SERIOUSLY?????
But they cut my food stamps by $6.
Sigh.............................................. :rose:

Yes,I got a small raise and it will come at a cost
-
mine was flat - no increase - no decrease.
I'll just keep coasting along.
-
does that even pay? 2 dollars, wow. I am not that age but my mom is. So dumb.

I got a raise of 2% and yep my insurance went up and took it all away. Hubby got a big raise on his and of course his insurance went way up. And he is still working and paying into it. What a rip off. Of course the government had already ripped me off of 15 years from the kids father. All because we filed jointly on the IRS. So all of the time I worked my tail off on the farm counted for nothing. Zip, nada. Like I was a ghost or something. Yep really ticked me off.

my boyfriends ssi/ssd he got a 2% raise and it amounted to about $9 per month
$2 is crazy that really isn't a raise.
his will help us because our rent is going up by $5
