This is awesome that companies are helping their own when they get extra. Maybe FusionCash could get some tax inspired inscentives to give to loyal survey goers.
-
Yes, that is nice! Employees usually feel even more loyalty to their employer when they're given bonuses. I remember in the early days of when I was an administrative assistant, we would get bonuses as well as a Christmas party. Now a lot of that seems to have gone by the wayside for a lot of employees. So it's nice to hear about employees being recognized for their service with a bonus!

It is always nice to be recognized and shown that you are appreciated.
-
Way to go ATT and Wells Fargo! $1000 Bonus is a super bonus.
-
Wow, that is really wonderful. I like when companies take care of their employees because it takes a team to make a business run at the end of the day.
-
that's really awesome I got a $10 gift card to Meijer from my company and then a $20 gift card from my department for the holidays.
-
That's nice of them to give their employees a big bonus for working for them! I think that's very appreciative for any boss to recognize that they care for the help!
-
The extra money will be a nice help.
-
That is nice and I am sure the employees really appreciate it!
-
I am so glad for those that received the bonuses
-
That's nice to their employees but as a bank I don't trust either. I did hear Wells Fargo filed for bankruptcy or at least not doing to well in stocks and could cause them to go bankrupt.

Yeah that will not happen. FC doesn't pay you for the surveys. The company doing the survey pays. That is why if they revoke payment FC says you will not get paid because they only get paid if they are going to pay you. Although FC does make money off each survey we take. I am sure it works something like we will pay $1 for every survey your people take and then FC says we will pay the survey taker 75 cents. They get a percentage of each survey the people take.
Also doubt FC would ever get any kind of a tax break. They do not have real employees other than the 2 or 3 that runs the site. WE are not employees. This is NOT a real job. Just a way to make some extra money.
As for the companies mentioned giving $1000 bonuses to all employees. I really do not believe it. There is so much fake news that you can't believe anything. Especially if you see it on Yahoo. I have done research on several of their stories lately and found they were completely false.

Not really. You pay taxes on the bonus. We had a Christmas party or lunch rather not really a party and WE all or most of us brought something to contribute. So they didn't really give us even that. haha

Have not heard anything about Wells Fargo filing for bankruptcy. Do not believe that at all. If you look at the numbers on the stock market they are doing quite well. Numbers are usually going up.

For them to give out large bonuses is good, everyone needs help every once in a while.
-
Cool! Hope there’s more of those down the line for everyone!
-
Hopefully all companies will follow suit. I know I could use some extra.
-
Too bad all companies don't give out bonuses.
-
I also heard that both are laying off people right after the first of the year.

Wow! this is shocking to me! It is wonderful that they are giving their employees nice bonuses! I have had a very bad experience with AT&T this year. AT&T claimed I was missing a payment and they shut off my service. I got nothing but the run around even though I had proof from my bank that I had paid the bill. AT&T's customer service is horrible! I would never recommend them to anyone!

Too bad they couldn't pas some kind of savings down to those who are members. Of course years ago we quit going to Wells Fargo. We had a signed contract with them on buying a mobile home. and in mid stream after we had paid about half of it off. They sent us a letter we had to pay it off or they would repose as they were no longer going to take payments for mobile homes and we still had about 4 years left on the contract. didn't do any god that they had signed it also. so we called in a loan on the house we sold and took a loss on it. Paid off the loan on the mobile and took all of the rest of the money out of their bank plus some other investments and moved every thing to a small bank and have not gone back to them since.

As far as I know they will give a 50 stocks to the employee but you need to stay at wells for 2 years.

That is spectacular! Bank of America gave a one thousand dollar bonus to each employee that made under one hundred thousand dollars last Friday. Three companies is a good start. The company that I have contracted with, evenings and weekends, had to put a moratorium on hours. Nobody is allowed to work over eight hours, and overtime is forbidden, except salaried individuals. The legal and accounting departments advised that tax penalties from the new tax plan could adversely affect the company. I generally work between fifteen to eighteen hours on Saturdays and Sundays and manage to hit three to five hours in overtime per week. This will kill up to seventeen hours of pay and nix overtime, on a weekly bonus, for me. I estimate about a twenty five thousand dollar loss in income. I will need to find a third job-maybe I can caddy at Mir A Lago?

it is nice when companies give their employees bonuses
-
all companies would be promoting America if they did this
-
$1,000.00 does not make up the the years of abusing those poor employees.

Did you see where ATT was laying over tens of thousands of it's employees?
-
Too bad all companies don't give out bonuses.
Most companies cannot afford to give $1000 bonus to ever employee. And ATT laid off tens of thousands of employees. Look at their stock - ATT ain't worth much.
-
Lucky them! Lowe's (where my partner works) gives out bonuses as well, but we have yet to see exactly how much because she hasn't received hers yet.
-
When I read this, I thought that's pretty nice, at least some companies are taking care of this workers this holiday season...unlike the other company that I read that sent out notice of layoff! But guess what? The company that just laid off 600 workers (with plans of more next year) is AT&T, the same one giving out these bonuses! Just trying to cover up their bad press from laying off so many right before Christmas.
-
What's ATT?

Their bonuses are not that much and they come every quarter depending on the sales of that particular store.

They aren't trying to cover up any thing. Just doing their thing. I doubt the called the media and told them to print any of this. And companies have a right to lay of employees. At any time. I don't know why people cry about getting laid off at the end of the year as opposed to the middle of the year. Either way you are without a job. Might as well get ready because as technology becomes more advanced lay offs will be more common. With computers and machines doing more work and things becoming automated there will be less need for people.

Thats nice that the company is doing it but wells fargo wasn't exactly an honest company earlier this year
-
Yep, good deal for the employees!
-
Yeah I hope so.
-

No big company is completely honest and transparent.
-
hat woudl be good get a bonus for every year youve been a memeber. lol
-
Those are some impressive bonuses. Incentives like that really help with employee morale. More companies should adopt this as a frequent part of their business.

No, Wells Fargo has not been honest and straightforward. They were recently fined by the government because many employees set up false accounts for customers. Not long ago I also read somewhere that there were still some problems. Wells Fargo got a new CEO who implemented some changes to try to overcome the results of illegal account set-ups and re-brand Wells Fargo as more honest. I'm not sure exactly what is happening right now but there was some shady involvement.
-
I think that is a good idea. These bonuses really help these employees be more productive
-
That's nice, during these times everyone can use all the incentivities they can get; good that company recognize their employees.
-
Assuming that this is true, I think I need to put in a job application to AT&T and Wells Fargo, LOL.
-
I also heard that both are laying off people right after the first of the year.
And that's a bad sign for working for this company.
-
Other companies are giving bonuses too!
-
Are these bonuses being given to non-management or management people? It would be great if given equally.
-
WOW that nice. Any xtra cash is good.
-
It is nice to see businesses reward their employees again. I thought that was a thing of the past :o
-
Good for them! Do they pay taxes for bonuses?
