I feel as thou this month will go by really slowly.
I will be sitting here waiting for my W-2's so that I can go out and get my taxes done.
I did a tax calculator and it says that I will get about $8,700 back
which if that's what I get that pretty awesome. and should be able to put my family in a better spot and hopefully a house/apartment closer to work.
but that was only using an online calculator.
not sure how accurate that is

Wow! Hopefully you do get that much back. Would be a nice little windfall for you. I am sitting here with no income awaiting a decision on Social Security disability. I spent 25 years as a nurse and have spent the past few years not working due to multiple health issues. I'm praying 2018 will be the year to turn my life around. I am grateful for all the survey sites especially FC that help me earn a little money to get by.

I'm getting a tax paper from a survey site, made 854.00 there last year !

I heard its really hard to get that. I hope that you can finally win your case and get the income you need. you've paid into the program so its time for them to pay you back.

Not in rush for tax season but will start gathering all the information and hopefully have them done in February
-
that would be great to get that much,,,,,,

Wow, that's pretty good. I will get a refund. I am going to put it in my savings.
-
I can't wait to see what will be my tax return this year 2018.
-
I usually don't get W-2 until end of January. I break even most of the time. Refund from state but pay on federal.
-
Just waiting to get my returns to see how it will work out.
-
That's amazing you get that much back! I made some donations to charity earlier in the year so I'm hoping to get a little something back.
-
I get a 1099 since I am a subcontractor. I have a few deductions which helps but I still save this time of year :)

How in the crap do you get almost $10,000 back? I know you didn't pay that much in. If you did you would not be on a site like this. smh
-
So basically you are not getting in BACK. You are getting it in the form of government handouts. If you get it BACK then you paid it in. I will get money BACK. Because I paid money IN where I have worked all year. Just sayin!
-
That would be great, hope things work out in your favor; would be a nice wind fall. Good Luck.
-
I have to pay this year and it hurts. I have no more dependents. :confused1: :sad1:
-
I will be filing for the first time in a while but I don't expect to get anything back because I didn't make much in 2017.
-
that would be nice..my daughter does hers online...wish mine would say that
-
Wow, that's a lot of cash and deductions.
-
This year I will hope for the best with my taxes.
-
wow crossing fingers for you that all goes right... that's a very nice sum to have back!!! :glasses-nerdy:

Eighty seven dollars seems to be pretty high. I have not gotten a refund since 1981. One individual indicated that someone who made really good money would not be at this site. I would have to disagree with that as I make exceptionally good money by many people's standards. I do this by working two and a half full time jobs and have worked at least this many jobs since I was fifteen. Fusioncash is an excellent venue for filling down time and making a few bucks. I jump on fusion cash between company downloads and during system upgrades. Right now I am donating blood, which takes an hour, and have finished off my point to click, videos and one post. I will do surveys if I find myself in line and anticipate thirty minutes of downtime. Congrats to the person getting a taxation statement for her $854 earned in surveys...I generally do not make more than $500 per side venues.

Why would a person overpay income taxes and let the government have their $8700 for a year? Fine tune your exemptions and you will have access to your own money all year. Save it in your own bank account, not the government's.

I get the earned income tax credit plus I have 2 children I claim 0 on my W-2
-
I wish I could go back to work .Just getting frustrated.
-
I wish we could get that much back - then we could get hurricane Irma damage repaired. We are living under one of those blue roofs :(
-
That's a gigantic refund. Earned income credit is only for those who make very very little, I have never qualified, even when I was working for 30K a year with one child.
-
We always break even. Hubby does our taxes and we always know just about what we need to do to keep from paying. I don't care if don't get anything back but don't want to pay a large sum in. Happened one year, but then after they did an aduit , we ended getting back a little over 3/4 of what we paid in. Which was nice.
-
wow go you! wish we could get that much back but barely break even because I cant afford insurance and our son is over 21 and cant claim as a dependent. that really hurt our refunds

I made $17,300 at my one job and I don't know what my income was at the other job. and I don't have access to the last pay stub to check.

Looking forward to doing my taxes. its always a waiting game for all you w2's and usually do the end of month.
-
Uncle Sam is going to start collecting taxes in a couple of months. :bad:
-
Wow, good for you! You must have 3 or more kids. :D I do my own taxes and some friends and families as well. I try to take my time since I am busy this time of year. Happy tax season everyone! :D
