So if you if you vote lawmakers in that say they'll raise your taxes. They will. And you will suffer. California will be bankrupt along with New York, Illinois, and New Jersey. When there is no work there and you finally leave, leave your politics there and join something that works.

It is sad to see what is happening in this states.
-
I've lived in California since 1973. I'm about ready to leave.
-
California is also starting up becoming a sovereign state and becoming an "independent nation". I live in Southern California and it's sad, it's getting worse and worse.
-
I hate to see states raising taxes. California is one of the most expensive states to live in.
-
Why California wants more taxes than this State already has?
Did you know "some other States" do not have Income Tax?
California...why California?
-
I left Southern California in 1969 and have only gone back to visit relatives. I don't miss it at all.
-
Wow! I'm glad I have no real desire to go to California. We drove to CA last year when we went to AZ just so we could mark it off as "been there, done that".
-
If you do the same thing that didn't work time after time, then you do It again, You are insane. Nancy Pelose, Barbara Boxer, and Diane Finstein need to move to France. TRUMP is ridding us of all the B.S High taxes. If you don't like it Move to California or New York and your money will be taken as always. But please don't move to a state that enjoys low taxes.
-
People need to look at who they keep re-electing.
Look at the social fabric that is voting illegally, and who needs to do more than let others vote, or not doing something to save that state.
Sad, but they have been on a slide down for such a long time. Will take citizens banding together and get out the vote for legislators who want to see California become an honorable state, and stay with the USA.
:rose:

The people of California need to vote these tax-raising politicians out of office.
-
The government always wants more of taxpayers $$$$$$$. :bad:

California will never be bankrupt. None of the other states you mentioned are bankrupt. This is what happens when you demand higher and higher wages. These states that have a really high state min wage have higher taxes.
-
way too hight . taxes need to be lowered . low class cant get ahead
-
I knew it was a bad idea moving back there. ::)
-
Wow that's crazy. I hear the price of living in California is already really high!
-
That is just ridiculous. The common worker can't afford to have it that high. They'll be a lot more people homeless and/or moving out of state to a cheaper one. VA had raised theirs but it's only from 5 to 6%. Maybe it's because that's where all the famous rich people live but that ain't right for all the regular people.
-
A lot people have been moving out of Ca. for years, just as soon as they can sell their overpriced homes they are gone. Have dealt with a lot of them through retail . some of the stories they would tell about the price then and that has been a few years ago, Now it is even worse.
-
I say GOOD or since Cali is filled with either the rich or illegals let them bleed, Cali needs to fall into the ocean or be given to the animals !! Let the coyotes, mountain lions, fires, mudslides, pollution and earthquakes feed upon the elitists, illegals and Hollywood degenerates !!!

I wonder if Stormy Daniels had to pay taxes on the one hundred and thirty thousand dollars she received from President Trump's attorney? How much of the aforementioned eighteen percent in taxes will go towards paying for a wall that eighty three percent of America does not want, Mexico was supposed to pay for per the current president, and was going to cost four billion dollars/ eighteen billion dollars...is now up to twenty five billion dollars? How many broken promises to the dreamers will be given before one party gets wise enough to say no mas? Will any of the eighteen percent be used for legal costs associated with the nineteen allegations of sexual misconduct currently leveled against the president? Thinking not...will most likely be a cost handed to citizens via federal taxes or pushed off to our next generation.
-
That's crazy. I used to dream of living in california when I was a kid but it's just too expensive. I don't know how any average person can afford it there.
-
liberal lunacy...thats what is going on...
-
I never had a desire to live in CA. I feel bad for those living there who have to pay those high taxes. That is really far to much taxes.
-
My partner left Southern California three years ago this month when she came to live with me. She does not speak highly of the place at all. She lived in Riverside, which she regards as being filled with many drug addicts and homeless people. There's a lot of crime there, too, evidently. :confused1:
-
18% that's crazy, what is it at now? no wonder you have to be rich to live there.
-
State income tax? All income taxes are illegal in the Union. It's a direct, un-apportioned tax, which is forbid in the Constitution TWICE.
-
They can wish to have 18 percent all they want but that would probably cause californians to impeach the current govnor ifa anything like that was passed . Besides stuff like that has to be passed by the people and that states people wont allow nothing that high to get passed

Tell it to the jailer as he slams the door on you.
