Raised in Ohio...still live in Ohio.
Have lived in Kentucky...Indiana...and Germany for 3 yrs...(Army 1976-1979)

Born in NOrthern Nj and have lived all over the East coast from Rhode Island to Florida at 1 time or another for 45 years,now I'm back in Northern NJ. trying to just live a relaxing life until it ends.

Richmond, VA. I lived in Russia for about 4 1/2 years when I was little, but came back here and haven't left since. I love RVA so much, I'm not sure I could move permanently anywhere else. :heart:

Born in Northern (cold) Minnesota, lived there till I was 47, packed and moved to Southern Oklahoma, lasted 3 years in the bug and spider infested south, also had one too many run in's with rattle snakes and copper heads to my liking.... Packed and moved back to the (cold) but Southern Minnesota, and now i'm moving down the street.

I was in an area of Virginia driving looking for a private lake to dive years ago and it was just the same farmlands everywhere,no gas stations,landmarks and we were low on gas,it was Children of the Corn in the making but luckily we cleared the area on fumes,got tanked up and were fine. Nice area as long as you don't have problems.

jwkelly, where in northern NJ do you live? I am from Massachusetts but have lived in northern NJ for the past 43 years.
I am really happy here. Unlike CA, we don't have huge wildfires, earthquakes or mudslides so I feel pretty safe here in general.

Born in New Mexico, lived most of my young life here, a little stint in Texas then to Ohio. Back to New Mexico. Truly the Land of Enchantment. We have a little of everything here. deserts, mountain, lakes and lots and lots of sunshine. But now at 74 the only place I want to live is here but do enjoy visiting other places.

Born and raised in LA. After my children were grown and out of school moved to a small southern rural part of MS. Grown children followed and live nearby which makes me happy that my grandchildren are being raised in the country. Living with a large lake in my back yard and loving every minute of it. Do not plan on moving anywhere.

The frozen state of MN. My husband says that the land of 10,000 lakes is actually 100 lakes and 9,900 puddles. :) He's a transplant from IA.

Central Florida born in the same town I live in presently. Many years ago my husband and I lived for two years in NC but other than that always been here and I am 64. 8)

I was born in East Point, Georgia. When I married we lived in East Point for a while, but later moved to Riverdale, Georgia. We now live on a farm in a rural area of Georgia. The town is Carnesville, Georgia. We have been here for almost twenty years now. I love it here. It is such a peaceful place to live and raise your children. :)

I was born and raised in Southern California. Lived for 12 years in Colorado, but this sissy could just not take the cold. (We lived in the Telluride area, a ski resort at about 11,000 feet). Moved back to California because there were so many more educational and other opportunities for ur children. We still do visit Colorado a couple of times a year.
