I have not done this in years. I keep getting offers for subscriptions to newspapers. I guess there are people who still like the actual paper.
-
No !!! What a waste of money in this age. Add to that in my area we recycle paper so newspapers and mags are easy to come by for free and the local library too.
-
The local news paper gives a free year when anyone moves to my town. I get the old ones from a friend just to wash windows with.
-
No I do not get the newspaper get news on line
-
Absolutely online. A lot more info, and you can search and get the information you are looking for.
I expect that could be an industry that fades away. Of course not everyone has the internet....
:rose:
-
I love magazines though, once made 500 dollars on Ebay when I found a hundred of these 1980's mags tossed out for recycling(some magazine called "Seventeen". Ppl loved them and that was when Ebay was King and easy as well as Paypal.)
-
8 gun magazine subcriptions and 3 automobile mags....plus a few free ones from survey sites... 8)
-
I would think the only ones who still read them are the older generations. Even if I were to look at one it would only be the sports section. I never have read the paper and certainly won't be starting now.
-
I don't read the paper but I clip any coupons of products I use. We have a subscription because my husband prefers to read the newspaper verses reading it online.
-
My newspaper is free!
And I read notices, articles and news.
-
Nope not with the internet lol
-
nope - none that I pay for anyway - only the ones that I get in mail for free that I don't sign up for...lol...a waste of time/$ in my opinion.
-
Nah, we cancelled ours several years ago to save money, and because the paper was dwindling down to nothing worth reading anyway. Not much need for it anymore with internet.
-
Yes. We get the Sunday paper of two papers for the ads & crossword puzzles. Groupon had a deal going for $10 for two years of Sundays. :)
-
I buy the local paper once in a while, but most of the time I read the news on the net.
-
I don't have a subscription to the paper but I do on occasion buy a copy.
-
Not so much. My husband will buy a newspaper ever now and then and I may flip through it.
-
Just the sunday paper for cpns read some of it not much tv or online is so easy. Don't see how they're still in business. Also hate the mess it leaves on the couch.
-
I don't buy newspapers. Just about all new is on line now. Seems like a waste of money these days unless you don't have internet access.
-
Sometimes on a Sunday for the coupons
-
I live in a very small town, and our newspaper is so high for what we get and only comes out once a week, so I but one if I want to see what an article is about that I am interested in, they have no coupons. Or I will read it when I go out to my fathers, he gets one every week. But he rarely goes to town. We pick up most anything he needs and take it out. He is now blind in one eye and not really comfortable driving, except when he goes to the doctor and he can take a roundabout way with little traffic. So it id good for him to have the newspaper.
-
i only get my news online
-
Do not buy or read the newspaper.
-
I just recently started back reading magazines, it's pretty much the same ol same ol, too many ads and not enough of the rest when it comes to content, and ones with good reading content are hard to come by....so it seems at least.
-
I used to but not anymore. I just did not have the time to read them.
-
i read it at work
-
I get the Washington Post, as I live in VA. I don't think it's a waste of money because I prefer to have the headline and article right there than in the case of a website where I only get headlines then click on what I want and get stuck with a zillion pop up ads running along the side. I will go look deeper into articles on line but to use it as my main source, no. I get too frustrated with website navigation, not to want a paper.
-
I have a subscription to the paper for Sunday papers only, mainly this is for coupons only lol, But its cheaper for the subscription then to have to run down town 5 miles away and buy a paper
-
No, I do not buy or read newspapers.
-
Do not have to buy them. I'll pick up news papers from the free ones in town.
-
I don't read the newspaper, but I think we are still receiving one. In the age of the internet, everything is already available, it just about finding it. There's so much stuff out there to read already that a newspaper would just be one more thing I'd probably forget about.
-
No, just read online. Free and easy.
-
can't remember how many years since I actually bought one - everything online is so much more expansive and easily available
-
Years ago I would buy and subscribe to the newspaper but now I read all of my news online. :) :)
-
Haven't done so in years.
-
We only buy the Sunday paper and that is only if the Dollar Store has them still in stock by the time we remember and go get it. I look at the ads online and watch the news daily so really don't need it. My husband love the transportation section
-
No, I read everything online! that would not be a good use of my limited funds in this day and age of technology, but I still see them so I guess their are still lots of people who do.
-
Not anymore.I used to but i quit 8years ago.
-
i dont buy it ,,not worth what it cost.....
-
Every week I purchased the local news paper.
-
I haven't purchase or read a newspaper in a lot of years. The newspaper can be read for free on the Net.
