Post by: sbenkoski on April 01, 2018, 04:40:06 am
Do you suffer from seasonal allergies or food or any other type ? I used to be a walking welt or as my friends called me as a kid "Ben-raspberry" covered with hives !  I grew out of all of them but strange not till about 15 years ago so i was 44.

I have developed seasonal allergies in the past 10 years. Also, I've developed an allergy to bleach. Whenever an article of clothing has been washed with bleach touches my skin, I develop welts all over my skin. This too has been in the past 10 years. Our bodies can be very strange.

:rose: :rainbow: :rose: Every once and awhile my allergies spike up during the season changes. Plus if I'm around a lot of pollen that settles or dust get's to be to much outside, my allergies get out of control.  :rose: :rainbow: :rose:

Not the animals fault you're a born defective..  A guy I knew was allergic to dog hair so I had my collie lie on his coat and told him to either get allergy shots or suffer in a world filled with pets, dust and pollen.

Yes" seasonal allergies and it does not help that we live around so many trees and on the ground level of our condo, we are going to get rid of all the carpet and hope that will help some; I love the beauty of nature out back but not the best for my allergies when we bought here my allergies were not as bad, and then in winter extreme cold seems to bother me as well so I just make the best of it and do what I can to not be totally miserable and go on with my daily life.

Seasonal allergies are pretty annoying.  I cant take any OTC meds for them unless they are the shorter acting types.

I have hayfever at the beginning of springtime most years. One year, when I was studying in Germany, the hayfever was so bad I went to the doctor's and got a shot. They call it Heyschnupfen there. The shot took care of the whole problem. I've never run into a U.S. doctor who offers it though.

I'm one of those 20%.... I take allergy meds just about everyday.

& as a money saving hint, I purchased the Sam's Club version of claritin - loratadine .. 400 tabs for like $13 -- & it works just as well.

Seasonal allergies used to hit me real hard twice a year, that being when the weather changes.  I changed my diet after a serious health issue and I haven't had any issues with allergies in over five years.
