Serious question. Do you think you'll ever be rich? And by rich, I mean a millionaire, which many may not even consider rich anymore, but I definitely do. I think I will one day. At least that's what I'm working towards. I make over $20 an hour at my current job, and have several side hustles, including a roommate and this. Not getting rich from this, but it keeps my brain active and I'm at high risk of getting Alzheimer's, so I think it's good for me.
I don't spend much money, and put most of my salary in a retirement account. I'm hoping for some luck with the stock market, and eventually, I'll have enough money to retire, travel the USA, Europe, and South America -- or maybe just take some afternoon naps with my cats.
What about you guys? Planning on being rich one day? :)

The chances of my being rich (money) are slim to nil. But I’m very very rich in other ways, I have a great family, who I love more than anything, I have some wonderful friends who mean the world to me, so this way, yes I’m rich.
-
I wish I were rich in family and friends. Sadly I'm not, but I'm not a super-social person so it doesn't bother me too much.
-
I do better with making money online every year as I continue to grow wiser.
-
Try to invest that money into a retirement account. That's where you'll really start making money. ;)
-
Not unless I hit the lottery. Not by working on sites like Fusion. Not without a lot of luck. Not with what seems to be my skills and talents. Not unless I have a rich relative somewhere I don't know about and they want to leave their money to me. Not unless I suddenly have a major insight and invent a greatly desirable or useful item or concept. I guess not!!!
-
I was never rich but I did own a couple of houses in my life.In a few years I am gonna invest into something for retirement .It won't make me rich but it will help me and my wife live comfortable. :)
-
I have one chance of becoming a millionare. I have a 20 million dollar lawsuit against the county jail and state of Michigan for my daughter suicide while in county jail under suicide watch. Our lawyers say that we have a chance of a settlement and should expect 5 million dollars.
If I win the lawsuit I plan on opening a middle eastern restaurant and naming it ShadowCat after my daughter's nickname to honor her memory. And I will be donating some money to suicide prevention in her name.
-
I think the mistake here is defining "rich" as having over a million dollars. I don't believe I will ever have a million dollars and I am resigned to the fact that money will probably always be tight (yet I am still hopeful that one day it will not be so tight). But I have a house and I have people in it that I love and who love me. What more can I really ask for?
-
I will never be rich financially but I am rich with family and friends. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose family and friends and be flat broke anyday. ;)
-
I hope one day I hope to live comfortable.
-
Probably not. I will still be poor.
-
Money does necessarily buy happiness.
-
I'm as rich as Jesus but I wouldn't suffer for you.
-
I know that I will never be rich, but I have a Husband who works very hard and I live quite comfortably. We could not do this without The Lord always being there for us. :angel11:
-
I'll never be rich.... but I never cared about that....as long as I'm comfortable then I'm fine. :in-love: :in-love: :in-love: :in-love:
-
Hey, as long as you're happy, that's always more important than money. I just wanna be comfortable so I don't have to worry about money anymore.
-
I would hope that I would be one day but the odds are against that, but maybe one day my lottery ticket will win
-
I went on partial social security when I was 63 to help my son raise 4 kids, thanks to his cheating wife.
I can never go to full soc. sec. after that, and have to live in fed housing.
While not comfortably situated, I am very glad I did that. The grand-kids are very close with me. Not everyone has that. I am rich in that capacity.
My grown kids help me where they can. I am good.

i dout it but i hope so!!!!!!!

Will never be rich unless I win the lottery many will say that. If your young you have time to make and save m9ney. I'd tell you save for a house. In ca you need to make 150000 a year to buy a 700000 .00 house and that could be a regular house.
-
Will never be rich just want to be able to retire comfortably and pay the bills
-
Hmmmn well I doubt it I have some $$$$ in my savings from the sale of my deceased mom's house and I think at 64 too late to try and be a millionaire but now my son who lives with me may make it he socks a lot of money away and tries to work all the OT he can. So who know's. I can pay my bills each month and have everything I ever wanted or needed so I am ok not to be a millionaire. Good luck to you though.
-
I would love to be rich one day but I am almost 30 years old. I will maybe make a little over $18,000 dollars this year and I currently have nothing in savings.
-
Remember the cartoon " Richie Rich" and the sitcom " Silver Spoons" ? Those were fun to watch as a child.
-
If I win the lottery or one of my family wins the lottery.... or one of my computer programming small kids writes some sort of awesome computer app or marries someone who wrote an awesome computer app.... that is my only hope of being rich :)
-
I am rich with a healthy, well adjusted family that gives me almost as much love as I give to them. This was my main goal in life and I have achieved it. Making money is fine and I have been pretty good at it but it is important to never lose touch with what matters most. Material things, to me, are worthless. I bought the big house for my family's sake. They can be proud to bring friends home and there is always room under our roof for friends and family. Each family member has a well maintained vehicle, food in their bellies, extracurricular activities paid for, school paid for and vacations covered. My wife and I have a decent amount set aside for retirement. We are able to communicate without strain, angst or arguing. I have been blessed. I do have to work what many would consider to be an extraordinary number of hours but would gladly sacrifice for the benefit of my loved ones. The money made here, over the last nine years, has been put towards my money making hobby and the balance, which has grown to an admirable amount, will be passed to my survivors.
-
Yeah I do. I won't get there with my current job and that is why I have a side thing going on where I determine how much I make, I earn off the efforts of others, and I get paid over and over again for doing something one time. Everyone is capable of getting there. First we have to believe!
-
Highly unlikely. We give too much to our kids.
-
Maybe, who knows. And... it probably depends on how you define "rich"
-
not money wise no...but rich otherwise..i have my family and home..and im happy..married 41 years...extremely rich that way...
-
I am sure we have been rich in our life time and did not even realize it. I hope to be debt free one day and to me that is the meaning of being "Rich" ...lol
-
No, if God has it in my future then so be it. If not then, I'm ok with what he has for me.
-
Just keep working hard and a little luck when come, I will be rich with the blessing of Almighty God. Just keeps praying can help many people if am rich.
-
Dreams are great but ever being rich is definitely up there. I would like to be well off or wealthy.
-
no
-
Not as a millionaire; but I already consider myself rich with health, family and friends those are priceless.
-
I wish and think about it often but I am sure it will probably never happen.
-
Rich with money ~ no. I am rich beyond comparison, though. I have terrific, loving family and friends. I have a nice home and a good job. I have faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ, to take care of me through eternity.
-
If I win the lottery I'll be rich for sure.
-
Nope, I never will be but that's ok. I'm happy with my life pretty much. God blesses me every day!
-
No, I don't think so. I have been working full time since I was 16 (now almost 40). I have one child, been saving since she was born for college. Mortgage is my only expense, but it is so hard to save money. I just now, in the last year, have one year (current) salary in my retirement accounts. Who knows what will happen with all that money. I expect to work until I die.
-
I'm rich in faith and happy and content with what the Lord has blessed me with. I have never had a desire to be a millionaire anyway, you would never see any peace with everyone begging.
-
I certainly hope so.
-
I will be rich by playing the lottery ticket
-
I am rich in the things I really care about - the love and support of my wonderful family and great friends too who love to do things I like to do like take day trips into NYC to go to museums or the botanical gardens. It's also nice to have enough money to do the things I want to do, but beyond that, having a lot of money is not important to me.

Hello! :D :)
That's great for you! My goal is to be financially secure so that I don't have to worry about how I'm going to pay my bills next month. If within that journey I become rich great. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Considering I'm struggling to make enough money to cashout every month on Fusioncash, I doubt I'll ever be "rich". I'm still working jobs for minimum wage (because no one else wants to hire a college graduate). It's a tough world that we live in.
-
Being rich is an alien word to me!
-
I am sure one day i wil enough money to live comfortably, not being worry about paying my bills.
-
Maybe. Who knows what the future may bring?

More power to you and good for you if you can attain it, but don't give up having some fun in life. I'm way past the time where I could become rich unless I win the lottery and that chance is slim to none. I don't play. I always thought I'd have a good life and rest easy when old. When young, there wasn't any teaching on how to save money or how much, and I was a mom at 21, divorced, and no job and medical problems. When I married my high school sweetheart (he also had a kid from a previous marriage), we bought a house. We both had decent jobs and then came the recession of the '80s and we both lost our jobs. It was all we could do to keep from losing the house. It took us years to get straightened out again and by the time we could start saving, the boys were in their 30s and married. So, we had a chance to really save...then came 2008-09. What little we saved is now gone. Lost half in 2009, and neither can work anymore. Living on Social Security and my IRA is already gone and his is enough to pay this year's taxes and that's it. What we do next year is questionable. During our life, every time we saw the light at the end of the tunnel, something would happen and we'd be at the bottom of the ladder again.
-
Sounds unrealistic to me, lol.
-
I doubt it but I guess I can dream haha.
-
I wish! I would love to be...
-
Not rich in the monetary sense, but blessed in life!
-
I don't know if I'll ever have access to 1 mil at once (because of bills and continuous reinvesting) but I know my net worth will be that within the next decade or 2.
-
I think the definition of rich is shifting; it used to be meaning having an abundance of financial status. Now, it can mean just being absent of overwhelming bills (which many are acheiving by living in RVs) and being able to comfortably fulfill life goals such as being able to travel country to country by living in cheap brothels during those times.
-
Even though I foresee my net worth being a mil one day I don't care to ever have access to that kind of finances at one time; there's a saying more money more problems for a reason. I just want to be ok in the event of unexpected bills and emergencies, and I am, so I'm good.
-
You guys are right about money not buying happiness. There's a lot more to life than money, but I chose to divorce my spouse over money just because I didn't want to live paycheck to paycheck for the rest of my life.
-
No. I am 75. Too late for that.
Would be nice to have some more, but I am getting by with little bonuses along the way.
Rich in family, tough. That is the best wealth.
:rose:
-
it depends on Gods plan for us but as it says in the bible store up riches in heaven rather then here on earth
-
I certainly understand.

I will never be rich, but I have enough to do what I want to do and to buy things that I want and need. It is much better now than when I was younger.
-
i friggin hope!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
-
That's good enough :-)

I am in good health so I consider that being rich because my Mother always said that you could have all the money in the world but what is it worth if you don't have good health.
-
Not with money! I am rich with love and the blessing of Jesus, but am too old to think about getting money!
-
If I sacrifice my soul I could be a multi millionaire but that's not happening. Trump is proof that money doesn't save your soul.
