Just when most of our snow has melted......we get another Winter Weather Advisory for today
Forecast says: Moderate snow and light mixed precipitation expected.
Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations
of a light glaze are expected.
.Plan on difficult travel conditions.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause patchy blowing and
drifting snow.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Some years the weather doesn't get better for months after the new year has started. I wait to put my heavy clothes out of the way for the lighter wear. Getting snow would be frustrating at this time of the year though. Try staying warm with those boots! :rose: :rainbow: :rose:

It spit snow here all day Saturday, glad none of it stayed.

Winter is dragging out - eager for Spring to arrive.

Blame the ground hog !! :) :) :) emerging from its burrow and sees a shadow due to clear weather, it will retreat to its den and winter will persist for six more weeks, and if it does not see its shadow because of cloudiness, spring will arrive early.

I keep getting sick because of this crazy weather. One day it is hot and the next day it is cold. :(

Severe weather bringing golf to baseball-sized hail and potential tornadoes rolled in on us Friday in North Texas. It's that time of year again! Torrential rain, high winds, power lines down, the usual for this area. Then temps fell into the 30s barely getting into the 40s for the high Saturday!! Crazy, huh?

No snow where I am but it's still cold didn't get past 50. I was going to wear my boots today but didn't.

It is still a little cold here in NC . I never know what is going to happen from day to day

I just rode thru the West Virginia this weekend and saw snow on the mountains but the streets were clear and that's the way I like it.

Don't think I could stay in a city or state where snow last more than a few weeks.

Winter is refusing to die this year for sure. It's been lingering on and on. But I think we're almost finally at the other side of it. Take heart, everyone!

Im in Michigan its April 9th and snowing today!!

Wisconsin has an annual war between Spring and Winter. We are still getting very cold, severe windy weather.
Yet Thursday, it will be in the 60's.
We can actually get a sudden cold front in late May, and have frost on May 31st. That is why most folks here that garden, wait till the first week of June.
I love the four season, and each has its time.

lol I live in florida. Our severe weather alerts say "it's hot. dont get dehydrated" (I'm paraphrasing a bit...) Glad I'm not in the cold!

I thought it looked like things were gradually getting better up north. We use to say that after March, you knew the snow wouldn't last long - NOT THIS YEAR! ::)

Where I live we are having extreme heat alerts (Southern California). I am a little worried about what this may mean for summer if it is already from 95 to 103 in our area.

I'm ready to be done with winter as well. I live in PA and we had 4 snow storms in March .. that's just nuts !

I can't believe the weather has been so bad up north. I hope everyone stays warm and safe. It makes me so happy to live in Florida.

Thursday was 92 and today the little weather map says it is 41 and with the chill factor it is 30 with the winds up to 30 miles an hour and possible snow tonight. It is raining right now so it is possible and once in a while it does happen here. Glad my winter clothes were not put up yet and am going to light the fire in the wood stove when I get off of Fusion cash.

It was almost 80 2 days ago...now its 42 and raining... :P
