Do you celebrate cinco de mayo? I used to go to some places years ago and they would have free nachos, and drink specials all night. ;)

Kind of. My neighbor (and good friend) was born May fourth in Mexico and my daughter's birthday is April thirtieth so we will celebrate both of their birthdays today, May fifth, coinciding with Cinco de Mayo. We will have Coronas, Negro Modelos, guacamole/chips, tequila, margaritas, jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon and shrimp laid out as the birthday celebrants open their gifts, head out to eat and hit a few bars (my daughter turns twenty one). This will be followed by sleeping in and a day of lackluster productivity. Mt daughter's last exam, as a college Junior, is on Tuesday.my son's last exam, as a freshman in college, is Wednesday. We will be back to having a full house next Saturday which will rock my world! Even though I a ton I will get to see my kids. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I don't celebrate it, but happy Cinco de Mayo to all those who do.

I don't really celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but I do have a bottle of Tequila in the cupboard.

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone!

Just going to eat out in Mexican restaurant.

I didn't even realize thatit was cinco de mayo until I went to the store earlier and I passed by a Mexican restaurant. Balloons, loud music, and a ton of people. Clearly I don't celebrate this day and the funny thing is...neither do Mexicans.

Going to a restaurant for Mexican food, and of course margaritas!

We don't do any thing for Cinco Se Mayo. It is not an American Holiday. It is a Mexican one and really on down in the Southern part of Mexico where it started. It ends up nothing but a drunken party at some of the houses in our town . Police are kept busy with the fights that break out. Most of the other people stay out of those neighborhoods here.
