Post by: jkhanson on May 13, 2018, 05:05:55 pm: I was fortunate to spend Mother's Day with my 87 year old mom and also my 91 year old dad. I went to their house Friday evening and spent the weekend with them.

I got a nice package from my daughter and her family; a trip to the botanical gardens and lunch with my son and his family; and a phone call from my youngest. So since I heard from all my babies, I'm happy. :in-love:

My son gave me flowers, candy, card, and some money. :) Visited my grandma in the nursing facility, and she was so happy! What a blessed day!!! ;D :heart: :angel12:

Sadly mother's day no longer means anything to me. I lost my mom and last year I buried a daughter who committed suicide on Mother's day.
