Title: If you watch soap operas, which is your favorite?

General Hospital was in the days of Luke and Laura. Laura was engaged to be married and was raped by Luke, subsequently she broke off her engagement and married Luke. That story line turned me off of soap operas, stopped watching and never went back.

Post by: BATISTAGIRL663 on May 14, 2018, 03:30:51 pm: I grew up watching Days of Our Lives and Young and the Restless then I switch to just watching Days of Our Lives and it got so boring that I just switched back to Young and Restless Now The Young and the Restless is on a sloped downhill in my opinion and I may quit watching it too

My mother used to watch the Guiding Light when I was younger... then I watched it for a bit.

I watched The Young and the Restless when Nikki was just a young, young girl, but stopped when I realized what a colossal waste of time they are.

Loved it, taped it, ran home from school to see it and then Poof!! gone....I still refuse to watch the food show that replaced it and even though its been years, I still boycott the TV channel!! I do watch The Bold And The Beautiful from time to time and how wonderful it is that one of my favorite people from all my children is in this soap!

When I was young and raising children I would watch all of my children once in a while as that was nap time for them and I had an hour to put my feet up. But as they got older and we had other things to do I got away from it and never went back. I realized how much time it taking away from other things. Now it is Fusioncash.
