Title: Not Sure It Was Worth It
Post by: kaat1220 on May 13, 2018, 11:05:16 pm
I did a TapResearch survey, and it was one of those where you have a 3D shopping experience. Usually, maneuvering around the store is a bit difficult, but this time, it was nearly impossible, and I also could not find the product.

I closed it out, but it kept nagging at me. So, I went into history, found it, and completed it. It was not worth 24 cents.

I honestly do not know why I went back, except that I hate to admit defeat.

24 cents or zero cents, I will take 24.

I  HATE those 3D things -- I can NEVER get them to work right and usually end in frustration -- even my desire not to admit defeat is thwarted by them!  :)  Good for you for getting that .24!

I have a difficult time completing those 3D shopping things. I would rather have earned 24c than the 0c though.

Congrats on your winnings.

I admire that you were persistent and wouldn't accept defeat!  I have gotten better at the 3D shopping surveys through experience.  I think I'm more like you, and am determined to make it work.  It can be very tricky maneuvering around the shelves, but at least it's different and somewhat entertaining.  Also, I feel it's the way of the future, so maybe I'll know a little bit about it when it becomes common.  As to the "not wanting to accept defeat category" I have completed TWO surveys today, both at least 20 minutes long, only to find that I was disqualified.  I didn't accept defeat after the first, but now am reluctant after two in a row! So maybe I'm a little more accepting than I thought!

This is an update on my last post above.  I went to my account and found that one of the surveys rewarded me with a $.15 disqualification bonus.  This action just reinforces why I love FC!

I really dislike those 3D shopping surveys. I exit out of those as soon as I realize what they are. They take waaaaay too long and ask a lot of unnecessary questions.

I used to have trouble with those and hate them, but now do them and fairly quickly... my trick is to get close to the shelf and sidestep til I find a clear, not fuzzy, product, pick it up and put it in my cart then leave and usually that's all it takes...24 cents isn't a great amount, but it still better than some

Must be the same one I did yesterday I could not find it either.  Picked something else and when it asked how it easy it was to find I check very difficult and noted in the comments at the end of the survey.  Got my .24 cents too

I've done a few of those 3D shopping surveys.  They are pretty good but honestly, I have to be in an alert mood to be able to try to handle them.  If I'm a little too sleepy, I just keep crashing into the aisles.  It's a good thing that all of the products don't come tumbling to the floor.

I've had invitations to do a 3D shopping survey twice in the last couple of weeks but had to opt out because I had a hard time working the aisles.

It is so wonderful to hear that I am not the only one having difficulty with the 3D shopping surveys. I was feeling like a total incompetent.

I always opt out of the 3D surveys now.     I've tried them a few times with no success. They take way too long too.

I am glad for TAP surveys but I have found that some of them are long to very long and do not pay very well.  Still, I continue to attempt them and complete them.

I have had some of these 3D shopping offers. They are complicated. I have had to give some up but others I have completed, submitted and got credit for.

Those 3-D grocery store is a pain, and it is very difficult to move around to find the product they want you to, but sometimes I don't give up.

I would like them better if they paid better for my time

Would you believe.  I just got one of these 3D shopping surveys on a completely different site. I have tried them in the past with mixed results. They look like they should be fun but you end up really frustrated and stressed.

I did attempt the practice and I ended up giving up but not before I spent a lot of time on the practice.
