It is my husband's birthday today. In a few minutes, I am taking him out to supper. He loves BBQ ribs so we are going to the local restaurant that has a special on baby back ribs.
Mmmmm.....my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The ribs he had were very good. He ate a full rack! I enjoyed a nice pulled pork sandwich. To top it off, they brought him a free birthday ice cream brownie bite dessert. I am still full this morning!

I'm glad you had such a great celebration with your husband for his birthday. It's all those special moments that make life worth living! Now, you are making ME hungry!

What a thoughtful wife you are! I hope that the two of you have a wonderful evening. Ribs sound delicious! Are you going to let the server know that it is your husband's birthday so that they embarrass him with a Birthday Song? And a free dessert? We do that for my wife and kids-no matter where we celebrate, family style restaurants or fine dining-it is there special night. My wife celebrates her birthday for a week, sometimes a month and has even celebrated for a whole year! My daughter just turned twenty one and she has been celebrating for a little over a month. She, and my wife, will be going to Napa Valley for a week in June to celebrate both of there birthdays. Their happiness is my happiness as long as it doesn't get too crazy with spending cash!
