I only speak English, but living in state with a lot of Mexican people I understand a lot more then they know which comes in handy. But I won't speak it. After all this is America and they should learn English. Now my husband is flaunt in it. But he rarely lets them know either. Again it sure comes in handy.

Just English for me. I admire folks that can speak two or more languages fluently. I have a former coworker who spoke 7 different languages. Was always funny when I would hear him speaking to someone else in a different language and I would hear my name, I would immediately go into his office and ask what he was saying about me, always in good fun.

English is my only language, but I did take two years of Latin in high school. I ordered a Latin book recently to see if I still remembered any of it. Some, but not much. Actually, Latin is the root of so many words that it has helped many times through the years to figure out what a word means. And thanks to watching "Sesame Street" with my kids, I am proud to be able to count to ten in Spanish!
-
