I am having a hard time grasping why people join this site and then do NOTHING more ever other than joining. I have had a couple of referrals do that. Doesn't make sense to me. Of course you can't make any money if you do not complete the first offer.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have my link posted on my personal website so I do not know who the people are. If I did I would encourage them and show them how to get started.
-
I have 2 people who did this; haven't seen them do anything for at least a year...though it could be longer. My 2 seem to have done it as a favor to me. The one was doing quite well in the beginning, then lost interest. I think that's the reason for them not doing anything. They lose interest and nothing I said changed their minds.

I agree with you, sites like this just aren't for some people and they might join as a favor to a friend/relative but just aren't interested. Nothing wrong with that, this kind of work isn't for everyone.
-
its not just this site its all sites, people want something for nothing, they might have a look around and figure its too time consuming to bother with. Or may join with the thought of coming back later on when they have more time, then just forget about it
I have so many referrals across all the sites I work that never do anything other than join :(
-
I haven't because I haven't done any referrals.

Loosing interest after a while is one thing but just joining and doing nothing else doesn't make sense. I have had one that joined to help me out and she cashed out once and has not done anything in a long time. I am sure she will get mad when she decides to log back in and sees she has lot her money. I have told her this is going to happen.

These sites do take time and effort. But obviously it is worth it because I keep doing it.

I have had a LOT of people that just join and think it will be "easier" I guess to earn money? Once I got my first payout, I was like... I'm going to do this forever. It's been 10 years now, and I've made a lot of money. I hope whoever referred me is appreciative of the free $ they get every month!
-
I have several hundred referrals through on online referral link. None of them were active beyond signing up except for one who was active for about 2 months and then went dead (well over a year ago). I suspect he may have gotten banned because he was in the forum bragging (http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=79261.msg1094407#msg1094407) about how he had almost 350 referrals within a month of signing up. (I'm not to that point yet after three years of actively pitching the site!)
I have one personal invitation/word of mouth referral who remains active and gets me a $5 bonus about every 2-3 months. I've heard oldbuddy say it many times before that without a personal relationship with your referrals, you don't have a very good chance of most referrals becoming regular earners for you.
Sometimes someone gets lucky and they snag one of us as their referral. I have zero ongoing relationship with the owner of the invite link I found three years ago - and I have never seen him active in the forum. Hopefully he is active enough to get my monthly $5 bonuses sent his way. I don't know.
It doesn't answer your question and I agree. Why sign up if you aren't going to make any effort beyond that? But I will admit that there are several other sites out there that I signed up for, then made a pretty quick judgment call that it wasn't worth my time/effort and didn't go back. Right or wrong, I think that is what happens to most people on FC who don't take enough time to properly evaluate the site and its earning capacity. Without a personal connection to them, we have little power to convince them otherwise.

::) Interesting!
-
I don't have any referrals. However, I agree I do not understand why they would join and not try it out a little longer before giving up.

Ive often wondered that myself, how many of the places I signed up for, is my upline even still logging in and earning? Probably not many

Did you join through a referral? I did not. I don't remember where I saw the link for the site but I came straight to it myself. I think a lot of people see my link and description of the website and then just type in the site name and join but not thru my link. I def would appreciate any referral of mine. I don't think people understand that the money their referrer gets does not come out of their money. Or some people could be like my cousin who I tried to refer to something and he said what do you get out of it. I said $25 if you keep your account open for 30 days. He said what did he get out of it. I said well - nothing I don't guess. He looks at me and says "then why would I do it"? I haven't liked him very much since that day. :D

The places I have posted my referral link I have also said if you join thru my link I will help you if you need help. Just ask. I would be more than happy to give someone tips on how to get started. Although it isn't that hard. :D
I have one referral that I know personally. And she has not done anything in probably close to a year. Hasn't spoke to me in several months lol. But the others I don't know at all. If I did I would give them some encouragement. It is not that hard to reach cash out every month. Every other month is pretty doable for about anyone.
-

Well you get $1 when they sign up. And $2 when they do their first offer. A survey is an offer. I think watching a video is an offer. If they do not even complete the first offer then why sign up at all. Just didn't make sense. But it seems to happen often.

I agree 100%. I would love to communicate more with my referrals and give a more detailed personal testimonial (beyond what I posted with my link that encouraged them to sign up in the first place). But they have to opt in to accept emails from us - and very few of them do that.
Those that do, I have periodically sent out what I believe to be non-obtrusive encouraging emails. I try to give them a personal touch and not sound like spam/scam. I've never gotten any response and I haven't seen any activity from those users.
It really is too bad for them and too bad for me. :'( But I just keep at it and keep earning my credit each month.

True. Sometimes I wonder if people sign up to get the account and then are one of these people who can get hundreds of referrals and they just cash out every month on the referral money. lol I know a man who has a newsletter and he was over 100,000 followers. If he posted a link to this site with HIS personal link he would never have to do anything other than cash out his hundreds that he got from the $5 referral bonuses.
And he has posted several links like this site on his personal website and in his newsletters. He does really well because he was able to quit his job and running his website and newsletter is his job now. He also gets paid from ads that run on his site. He is well liked so people trust his site and the ads.
Sometimes I also think people get confused and think that money is coming out of the money they earn. Like it will cost them something.
I don't get rich but I do okay on these sites and can give some pretty good tips on how to increase your earnings.
-
People think it's easy and quick money when they join but never realize the time and effort it takes. They lose interest quickly.

I totally feel it is worth it. I have made quite a bit of money here and been invited to several focus groups thru surveys on this site that pay $35 at the least with one paying $100 for an hour of my time. And I think a whopping $10 have come from referrals. So it has all been me. lol. I have also received several product trials thru surveys on this site.
I am a member of another site where you can send messages to your referrals but just on that site so they don't have to even look at it.
-
Yup. All of my referrals have yet to do anything. Mehhhh.
-
None of my friends will sign up... :( ???

None of my friends will sign up... :( ???
I had one the other day act all interested and she know it is for real but I never heard anything else from her. She doesn't work and needs money and I thought she may want to sign up for some of these sites I do. But she doesn't have much drive so she probably wouldn't do anything either beyond sign up. She would expect to sign up and just wait for money to roll in. People don't understand there is effort to be put in. I spent quite a few hours yesterday fooling with this stupid stuff and made less than $2.
-
I've been on here for over a year and never did a referral, don't really have anyone to refer, so I just don't want to waste my time and theirs.
-
I think some people are afraid this site may be too good to be true or they simply end up finding other work. Others may be disappointed it's not more of a money maker. So there's that too. Me, personally, I know I won't get rich here, but the extra cash has been useful. So I stick around and like FC's honesty about their offers.
-
I have several referrals who have not done a thing. Do not know why.
-
I can't answer that question because my friends etc thinks it is big laugh. They say they are too busy doing something else that is more profitable for them. I can't blame them.
-
I have invited people that need the extra change and they haven't even bothered to sign up. You just keep at and make as much money as you can with the other offers from fusion.
-
I don't do referrals but sites I have joined as a referral for someone else is lucky to have me because I earn every day that I can which is pretty much every day. I don't get it. :moneymouth:
-
I have had referrals do that also, I often think they either just conclude that it's not worth the time or are having issues that prevent them from giving it any effort.
-
I barely do because I don't put effort into recruiting offline and the main site I use to place banners to recruit online has gone down.
I haven't because I haven't done any referrals.
-
That's a valid point.
People think it's easy and quick money when they join but never realize the time and effort it takes. They lose interest quickly.
-
i have never found anyone willing to do it...so i just keep clicking away for myself...

They don't try enough to know. These have signed up and done NOTHING more. Not even the first offer. A survey counts as an offer.
No, I won't get rich here but the money I do earn helps out.
-

I have heard that as well and then had people basically seem jealous at things I have got to try or been a part of thru sites like this. You won't get offered the best stuff when you first sign up. I am a member of another site and have cashed out twice. I am on my third round and the surveys I am offered now pay more than all the times before. I have proved myself and get offered better stuff.
-
I have not had that problem; since I have no referrals the main reason being most of my friends and family would not be willing to put in the time so I have just not invited anyone. I guess some people may join without realizing you need to have some commitment to make this work!!
-
You've had a couple? I've had like 50 referrals -- none of which have gotten a single payout. I have no idea why you'd join the site and then not do anything on it, but I get that the surveys aren't for everyone. For those of us getting a cash out: I guess we're the cream of the crop!
-
Sounds like he had a smart strategy.

How did you get 50 referrals? That's $50. I wouldn't be complaining. I do agree why join if you have NO intention of doing anything.

I had someone follow me on twitter who is one of these people who can tell you how to get rich sitting at home. He unfollowed me after a couple days. I think he may be the last one that joined thru my referral. So I get $1 and he can just cash out every month on his referrals. But if you can't show people where you make money WHY would they join your site? I think you have to complete ONE offer to be able to cash out don't you? Maybe not.
-
It always happens. From one trickster of followers, only a few can become good referrals in any promotion or project. Even if you print posts with good and accessible information. They do it because they do not need it. Therefore, we have to make more efforts and always change the strategy.
-
I guess $5.00 is enough maybe they think this site is too silly for them. Tell them blog for $3.00 a month lol :angel11: Thanks FusionCash Love ya
-
I just keep working at it. Takes a little bit of patience.
-
I haven't had any referrals so don't know of anyone who has done this. It is their $ loss!
-
Yes, I have had people to do that, so I stop referring people.

But that is $50 you have made. I have a total of 3. One is a family member and she cashed out once. I don't think she realized the commitment involved. I do a few of these sites. And recently had a HUGE payout on a different site. SO this is def worth the time and effort. When word gets out I don't think too many people will be laughing at me any longer for doing the penny clicking sites. lol
-

I didn't "refer" these two. I don't even know who they are. They probably clicked on my link either on Twitter or thru hitting my website. Or possibly another social media site.
-
They think there going to get more money off a site like this when they don't they get discouraged to never be seen again. Its a common cycle sure this sites does give out a lot more t hen others but its not always that simple like some people come to t hese sites and believes it will be
-
I agree you are not going to make any money if you do not do anything, but it is very hard to make money on here now. I hardly waste my time doing surveys anymore and for some people what you are making is not worth the time.
-
Yes, I have experience this many many times...
-
I don't think people understand nor want to take the time to apply to making money on sits like this. They think it's going to happen in an instant. When they see there only getting a few cents they figure it's all a scam. Funny how many can sit on FB for hours but can't apply themselves to much else for any length of time.
-
I have experienced this many times.
-
trying to make money I guess,,,,,, I do the video's and the click to pay surveys are a pain I never qualify for them

Everyone has his own style and ability to earn. And then what you can not earn, you can earn another if you make good efforts. In any case it works. Now even on clicks, some earn passively 500+ dollars from one site. And this is their work, they could.
-

I do not understand this at all. I see no way at all to earn $500 plus a month on a penny clicking site unless you have referrals. I cash out every month and never has my cash out been dependent on referrals. I have made $1 of off 2 referrals. And $8 off of one referral. One referral cashed out one time. And I think I earned around $80 that month so I would make cash out with our without her $5.
I just don't get people who sign up and then never even do the first thing at all. smh. Just doesn't make sense.
And the places I have my link placed I have made the statement I will help them if they join thru my referral link. And I have been around for a while and know some tips and tricks I did not know in the beginning. It would have been nice to have someone take me under their wing and help me learn how to maximize my earnings early on.
-
Frankly, to make a long story short, about 2 years ago I tried to get 2 acquaintances to sign up. What it boiled down to after quite some time trying to get them to take the first step, I was told it wasn't enough money to commit their time and they may as well and get a regular job and make "real" money! I don't even bother trying to get referrals anymore and just do my own thing!
-
I only ever had 1 referral and they never did anything
-
I don't use the refer link people aren't trustworthy when it comes to things like this.
-
I don't have referrals so i am not sure how many times people go online or not.
-

Well, I have always had a regular job. This is not a job. Taking surveys online is NOT a job. There is no way to make enough money on these penny click sites to equal a real job. But the extra money is def worth it. I have told a few people if they ask how I get to test all these products, or when I say I make money online, or different stuff like that but in reality they aren't really interested.
-
I don't use the refer link people aren't trustworthy when it comes to things like this.
What does that mean? The people you refer if you know them they know who you are. If you don't all they have is your user name on here. I don't have to trust them. I don't know them. All I know is their user name. And most people you cannot figure out or find out who they are by a user name unless they use the same user name all over the internet and have it connected to their real name. I figured out who one annoying person was on here by their user name. They aren't on here any more. So thankful for that. lol
-
I don't have referrals so i am not sure how many times people go online or not.
I don't know how many times they go online. The only way I know they never done anything...
You get $1 when they sign up using your link (not from their money)
You get $2 when they complete their first offer (which could be a survey)
You get $5 each time they cash out (again not from their earnings)
SO if you never get anything past that $1 then you know they never done anything other than signing up.
-
I guess they just lose interest or perhaps just don't want to put the time in to do anything; It does require commitment; sometimes people may sign up for something and not really understand what is required.
-
I don't think that they really hear how they can make money. When they find that sometimes when they attempt to make money completing surveys they are told it's "unfortunate that the survey you completed is no longer needed or available" and they have spent 30 minutes on the survey. That happened to me a couple of days ago. I spent 40 minutes answering the questions and I get the nasty message.
