Title: What kind of vehicle do you have?

Twenty thousand miles on a rebuilt engine and has provided transportation to and from my day job for the last three years. We had a snow storm, two years ago, that dumped eighteen inches of snow in a matter of four hours. I locked my hubs and drove around pulling vehicles out of snow drifts: an Audi four wheel drive (my wife'miffed because she hates my jeep); a Subaru Forester;a Dodge Durango; and four brand new pick up trucks (no weight in the back). The Dodge and the pickups seemed a little embarassed that a little old jeep was pulling them out. I call her Iron Maiden and she drives like a tank with the four wheel drive engaged. Four cylinder engine that gets about eight miles to the gallon in four wheel drive.

the other is a 2007 that I will be paying on for the next 44 months but doesn't have that 3rd row.

Just driving around the used-car lot and spotted her. I thought the 2,500 miles was a typo error. But it wasn't so I brought her home.

We are starting to have problems with the electrical system and it breaks my heart. Can't play the radio and the electric trunk button drains the battery if you use it. Have to use the key. The last car we had was a '98 Olds, the "Lincoln" of the Olds line. Baby blue in color and everything I ever wanted. That one, too, got electrical problems plus hubby thought it was in a flood because some days it would smell so musty.

Both these cars got 30 mpg. No one would believe us until we showed the records to them or when we went on vacation with them and they realized we were telling the truth. :)

Hubby also drives a 2003 Chevy Silverado that he turned into a dump truck which he uses for firewood, coal and all the other things a dump truck does.He likes it. it's a plain Jane with no power anything. i can't get in it without a step stool. :D

Still running. We have a friend of the family, retired master mechanic, who keeps it going for me.

However, like it's owner (me) it is losing bits of the chrome off the sides I have noticed when I park.

Figure one more fall and winter, and it will be time to retire it....oh wait! It is re-tired! That is why I was able to buy it cheap.

I am retired too. Its very old at 22 years. I am retired and very old at 75 :)

The price was right and everything Ive heard points to it being reliable and good for the long hall.

He has been looking at Ford 150's, but also likes the Chevrolet Silverados. He checks the Internet almost daily, but still hasn't found the right one for him!
