How crappy was that??
-
I saw that one coming. No surprise at all. When I heard the announcement today all I could do was roll my eyes, shake my head and make faces.
He obviously doesn't have enough glamour in his life - he feels the need to go to tinsel town. :bad: ::)

It's the money. That's all these players care about, the money. Would you leave a team if you were getting $154 MILLION for 4 years?
-
I really don't care where he goes. But I just can't understand why he will be making $154 million dollars for playing basketball. Guess it is all about money, he will draw in more people to watch him and more advertisers that pay big bucks to get the merchandise on TV. But still I just don't think he is worth it at all.
-
Well... the money does mean something! Everybody has to make decisions.
-
Think he signed a multimillion dollar contract with a shoe company before he even played a game when he was a rookie...ridiculous!
We got guys fighting and dying in foreign countries for squat money.... :( :bad:
-
His contract is worth a lot of money. Way lot of money.
He ain't worth it! He is so rude and nasty!
-
These athletes follow the money; but he is also a pretty good at business; he brings in the fans regardless of where he plays.

I see the lakers trying to stack the deck again. It did not work last year when lavar ball guaranteed his son lonzo would take the lakers to the playoffs. Well that did not happen. Oh well I will see what my mavs do this year :)
-
He saw this as an oppurtunity to beat Golden State more then once.He signed a 4 yr deal...right?
Im not a Laker fan and i admire LeBron as a player.....Lakers have much better supporting cast then Clev.I woulda rather seen him go to Philly...an upcoming team.
Me???I am a Knicks fan and they need too much and run lousy!
-
he's working on his after basketball career so it was to be expected
-
That is great for the league. We need to have something to compete with the warriors.
-
very sad day for us here in ohio,,,,, :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :(

Now that Curry is going to Portland, I don't see Golden State repeating again, especially with the Lakers getting LBJ.
-
The Warriors just got D. Cousins, so it might be a three peat with five All :star: s on the team.
-
I think he was just getting frustrated with Cleveland and feels Lakers have a chance with coaches and players...he really doesn't need the money, I think it's just something to help him promote himself and his value.

:moneymouth: I've been a CAVS fan even before I left Ohio years ago. I wrestled against his high school as a student back in the day. He even built a big house near my old neighborhood. This is the 2nd time his has left the CAVS. He has broken many hearts because of the money. He does not play for his fans or his hometown. Shame on you Lebron James.. I'm glad now that you lost the championship to the Warriors. :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :moneymouth:

I'm glad. I don't know too much about him, but I know he is good, & I know the Lakers is the most popular sport team in the Los Angeles area... people take them VERY seriously... so the Lakers need to be winners. Hopefully LeBron will Make Lakers Great Again :P

Everyone who assumes that he went to LA for the money should be aware that he left money on the table in Cleveland to go to LA. It wasn't about the money so much as the location for his showbiz prospects - very similar to when Shaquille moved west from Orlando.
I am about an hour away from Cleveland, but am not a Cavs fan. My wife and two daughters are Cavs fans, but they don't follow it very closely. I grew up a Celtics fan during the Bird/McHale/Parish hey day - so they are still my team of choice. It would be nice to see another resurgence of the Celtics-Lakers rivalry.

That was a different Curry that went to Portland - his younger bro Seth. Unfortunately for the league, the Warriors are still together and getting even better (if that is possible) with the addition of Boogie Cousins.
-
Who is this guy? Joking! really don't care.

Now you can't turn on the TV without seeing Shaq in a commercial.
-
I saw Shaq on the Family Feud with Charles Barkley. It was hilarious.
-
It's always about the money I guess if I was them I go where they're worth the most money to I hated to see DeMarcus Cousins play on his separate team from Anthony Davis but that's okay he's a wildcat forever and I will love him wherever he goes
-
If it's 100% true, My friends are going to be pissed but I'm going to have a giant smirk lol.
-
Meh. I think he felt after the playoffs he did a lot more than what was asked for him and the team failed to do the job in the finals.
-
People go where the most money is .... end of story , it's always about the money nothing else.
