July 3, 2018 my mother-in-law went to meet the Lord. She was 95. Such a sweet, wonderful woman. She and my husband's Dad married several years after their first spouses died. They were good for each other. I will miss her warm laughter and the twinkle in her eye. Til we meet again, Darlene.....I love you.
Our kids have lost their second Grandparent in less than one month. (My Dad just died June 16, 2018).

Please accept my condolences for your families loss. So many complain about their in-laws, I'm glad you had a good relationship and I hope the happy memories will help heal your pain.

Sorry for your losses, it's never easy saying goodby to a loved one.

Thank you for your condolences and kind words of empathy and encouragement. I know both Dad and Darlene are in a far better place now. It is weird though when I visit just Mom......nobody (Dad) is in the recliner. I do have many great memories of both of these important people in my life.

 :star:  Sorry for your loss. It's sad that we live and die. The people living miss the ones that pass away. Hopefully you had the chance to let them know how much you meant to them! :star:

My sympaties to you, your hubby, and the kids.
Losing a grandparent, especially two and so quickly is hard.
I helped raise four grand-daughters and we are very close. They are all young adults now. I am 75.
I cherish the time I have left with them.
You had a lovely lady there, and you were all blessed to know and love her.

I just learned last night that Heaven got another angel. A very good friend passed away. She had been suffering from colon cancer for several years.

I pray for peace and comfort for your family especially the kids. I at 64 have lost more people than I have left. All grandparents, parents, husband. It is hard but what you said in the start of the post "went to meet the Lord" is all that personally gives me comfort through my losses. :rose:
