I have to finish tasks that I start. I get so cranky when I don't finish stuff. Like laundry. If I start it but I have to leave my home to run an errand, I feel a certain way, so when I get home, I have to finish this. Are you a finisher too?
-
I tend to see things through to the finish. My trouble is getting started in the first place, though!
-
I try my best to finish what I start, but my problem is procrastination.
-
If I get something started, I will usually finish it.
-
Depends on the day sometimes I procrastinate, other times I have to finish it before I do anything else.
-
No. I wish I did. :(
-
I usually finish what I start. I think it is one of the good qualities about myself. If I don't finish something, it bothers me and I get depressed about it because I feel like a failure.
-
yes, and i am good with it
-
I normally try to.
-
Yes, I try to.
-
I don't know...depends on what it
-
Ha ha I start a whole lot of things before I finish the first one sometimes! I could get up to do one thing and go do three other things and forget to do what I started out doing!
-
No, I don’t & worst it’s even harder to get things started!
-
Yes, I do. I hate starting something and don't finish it. That is a pet peeve of mine.
-
Yes I do. When I don't finish something it lingers in my thoughts.
-
I usually do. When I can't get something done all by myself and have already started it, I make an arrangement for another person to finish it.
-
I won't start a project unless I know that I finish it. Refinished my living room tables now and hate that I have to wait for each coat to dry. Just want to get it done and move on to the next project
-
Yes I usually try to. I can't stand something left unfinished.
-
Yep I do too even though it sometimes takes as much as a year. I got a picture in my head of exactly the way I want my property to look and started last winter on doing a major landscaping project all on my own, a little bit at a time. It's coming along though and is very gratifying work.
-
It depends what it is. If it's something that needs to get done then the yeah I would go crazy if I didn't finish. It's about priorities. If it's not something that needs to be finished right away, then there could be something else I need to get to.
-
Unfortunately, I do not. It wasn't one of my new year's resolutions. But it will be next year. I have been so swamped with work and two schools occurring at the same time for me. Hopefully, by next year, my schedule will be a little lighter.
-
I do but it takes me longer than it used to
-
Yes, if it is within my ability, I finish what I start. I hate to leave things uncompleted and then have to go back and sometimes start all over!
-
i try too if at all costs..an emergency is the only thing that would slow me down
-
I finish what I start eventually. I consider myself a juggler. I often start something and with having kids have to stop what I'm doing to move onto something else and then return to something else. For instance. Today I began filling out a back to school form. I need information on it from both my husband and son...so I folded it up and put it away until they are available to answer my ???'s. Also I'm making some cupcakes...I've yet to get to the ingredients...I'll stop doing something to go the store come and likely be asked to stop and do other things before actually getting to the cupcakes. My typical days...even work is like that. Stop... adjust to someone else's need and get back to another project. Things always get done ... just in increments.

At 75, I am slower at getting started and motivated.
However when it starts to pile up on me I jump in and finish it all.
I feel great about it for a day or two, and then I am already behind.
I miss the old vigor.

no not always my home so I find it later than I put a new spin on it lol a lot of my paintings are that way, got some sewing project too.
-
I usually do!
-
I general do, it drives me crazy if something doesn't get finished.
-
I say 60% or time I finish it while the 40% I just give up midway.
-
I have to say I usually do. It may not be when I planned but I finish.
-
As a matter of fact it's kinda a pet peeve of mine when people too often don't finish what they start.
-
I'm a perfectionist so I usually finish what I start. Everything has to be in order and put away very neatly. :monkey:
-
I do try to finish but if interrupted I have no problem finishing at a later time.
-
I try my hardest to finish what I start
-
Same here, or I don't even start it :highfive:
-
Yes, I always finish what I started. I might do it in small potions and chip away at it over a period of time but I always finish it. :cat:
-
For the most part I finish what I have started for the day. Sometimes when it comes to the weeding around the house I might get some done and get back on it the next morning as it still gets so hot that I have to quit early, and or my back gives out after a short time. Getting old and stove up sucks. My mind tells me I can do it, but the old body goes are you crazy.
-
Most of the time yes. I am very ocd about certain things and like to get everything done that I start.
-
I try my best to finish what I start, but my problem is procrastination.
This is me, when I get started I usually get on a roll to finish.
-
I try, and something like laundry of course I do finish eventually, but I'm easily sidetracked if it's not a task you can do all straight through.
As for larger endeavors, I think finishing what you start is a respectable goal, however as I've gotten older I've also learned the value in knowing when to cut your losses.
-
I am always determined to finish whatever task I start, I can't relax until the task is complete. :female: :female: :female: :female:
-
If I have a deadline I am good at getting stuff finished. If it is open ended I am not as good about finishing.
-
I have to finish what i start, I would go nuts if it's not finished.
-
always, my guilt overwhelms me if I dont
