What are your thoughts about this whole situation?

I saw the interviews last night on ESPN.So what else is new?
Really tired of all this not only in sports but the whole world.All you can say is you hope they get to the truth and then deal with it.He said she said.......blah blah blah!!

Like Hitch said, it is a lot of he said she said, but this situation seems worse than that. If I beat my wife and my boss got fired for it, everyone would say that is insane.

Bigfoot,maybe cos of the high level coach Meyer is and at a school like Ohio St they feel he coulda came forward and stopped it?NOT sure.Its different then Paterno at Penn St.That jerk was raping boys on the campus.Maybe Meyer coulda fired him for being a criminal.We all know how tuff it is to get a job when you have a record.
Many dont wanna get involved to day,plus they eat,drink and sleep football so nothing else matters.Maybe the right thing to do here is if Meyer knew all along put him on leave of absence till the truth surfaces...but i understand he didnt and knew about this.....College expected more from Meyer and didnt get it?
You decide.You wonder what went thru Paternos head before he died?Could he have known and stopped that?Meyers situation NOT as bad...but maybe he coulda made OSU look better?

All i can say is he is done at Ohio State.

I'm guessing a two game suspension at the max.

He ended up getting a 3 game suspension, haven't followed it closely enough to say it was justified.

If I remember correctly, Meyer was the Florida Gator coach when one of his players very blatantly reached his hand inside the face mask of an opponent at the end of a play and proceed to try and poke at his eyes. I saw the video for myself and was appalled.
The league made the mistake of allowing coach meyer discipline his player. So for the next game, the "Eye Poker" had to sit out the first quarter of the game - or maybe it was the first half. Whoop dee doo. Meyer made a big statement there, didn't he? ( Not ).
On the other side of the country, a college player who committed something much less than a dangerous eye poking had a suspension of about the whole season.
So now that everyone has completed the class "Stupidity In Sports 101" we can all move on to what really matters in life.
