"Mark Zuckerberg wants to know how much is in your bank account. The tech mogul’s Facebook has been quietly lobbying some of the biggest US banks to sign partnerships that would have the financial institutions share customer data — including account balances and recent purchases." (New York Post)
What do you think? Should Facebook be allowed to have access to their customer's bank accounts?
-
Of course not. However, there's not a lot of control over things like that. Seems like you can be hacked if someone desires to hack you.
I would really like it if there was some way you could really protect yourself, but if you're a target; you're kind of more or less defenseless. :monkey:
:fish:

I'm very protective of any place I keep money. I don't have a lot, only what I make here and on another 2 sites. I doubt I would ever lose the money though, since hackers would take one look at the balances and laugh their heads off. :) It wouldn't be worth the trouble to them.

This is very personal information and no one has the right gain this information. If companies start doing this I will for sure boycott their brand.
-
Only if Zuckernuts gives me some of HIS money.... :glasses-nerdy: ::)
-
I have not run into this issue
-
i don' think it right if he wanted to know that information then he should come to us first
-
Other than my husband and myself the only other people who should know what is in my bank account are my bank assistants. Sometimes I don't even like it when they know my account balance.
What is the motive behind this? Is he crazy or am I missing something? ???
So what if FB had a record drop in stocks a couple of weeks ago. I don't feel one bit sorry for Zucher. That 'loss' probably had little to no affect on his pocket book.
This guy makes no sense to me at all. :bad:
-
There's not a single reason for Facebook to have my bank info.
-
It's non of their business what is in your bank account, they can't make a person give them that information.
-
I'm more than happy to share that information with Mark Zuckerberg if he compensates me for it (and if he shares his personal bank information with everyone on Facebook).
-
This is crazy. Just another reason for me not to use FB.
-
Sounds like fake news hopefully it is. No one would be willing to give that info.
-
If this is accurate, to quote old comedy routines about mothers,"I don't think so."
-
Facebook should absolutely not be allowed to have that type of access. That is just ludicrous that any banking institution would entertain that idea.
-
do not think this will happen I have not run into this
-
Why would any financial institution allow financial access to a social media site? This idea makes me want to hit something with a baseball bat.
-
That is totally insane. I would never share my Banking Information with anyone. Besides, he already very Rich, what does he need with our Bank Accounts? ???
-
I would never give my bank info to Facebook. Privacy has limits
-
The answer is no, these tech companies are going too far, especially with privacy...
-
that's just if you wanna send money to friends and family free... ???
-
That's one thing Facebook will not have from me.
-
If this is true Hell No!
-
think this is for people that want to send monies friends and family at no cost - not required, just another tool for those who choose to use... think its a good thing... :peace:
-
I never give out that type of information
-
A resounding 'Heck no' to that offer. It is bad enough that the website cannot properly protect people's personal data. Now they want bank information? Get outta here with that noise!
-
No, Facebook does not. That is a trick. Be very careful.
-
I would not put my bank info on fb because they is so noisey they wanna know how much money you make
