I prefer eating butter cream on most cakes. I only use whipped cream when I add fruit toppings.

I really prefer whipped cream especially on top of the ice coffee or mocha.

Depends on what they are being used with. Buttercream for bakery and whipped cream for ice cream and coffee

Whipped cream for me on anything that is sweet or cold.

It depends on what it's being spread on; whip cream on ice cream, butter cream on cake.

I like them both, but I prefer utter Cream on my Cakes. :)

I choose butter cream for cakes.

I like them both. In fact I work with them both. I'm a cake decorator so I find myself asking buttercream or whipped all the time. There are so many flavors to play with it can be a lot of fun.

I think the basic difference is whether butter is incorporated or so I was told by someone....I love and always choose butter cream! Yum!

I like butter cream. I like whipped cream too, but Butter cream is better. :) :)

Definitely butter cream - one of the local restaurants where I live has really good cakes however one of my favorites (coconuty) is made with whipped cream and I have no use for that lol. However they have a really good carrot cake and it is buttercream thank goodness.

Whipped butter and cream cheese are easier to work with and
spread on breads.

I'm this way as well. Some toppings are just better on certain types of food. My sister is a baker and her homemade buttercreams and whipped creams are the best.

I love all frosting, but I would say whipped. It's so easy to spread.

Hands down... butter cream. It's a sweet treat on a rare occasion cake.
I did have a good whipped cream frosting on a high priced cake I purchased for a graduation last minute - so they couldn't change it to butter cream - it was quite tasty and light. I imagine that it is all dependent on quality of the butter cream or whipped cream.

I don't think I ever had butter cream before. I do like whip cream a lot though. I like to eat it on strawberry's.

Haven't used Buttercream, only use whipped cream in recipes.

I like whip cream better.
