I like the fall because of the cool crisp are. When fall is here I get the taste for caramel apples and candy corn
-
I hate it. Ugh, only 231 days until summer. I'm counting the days.
-
Fall is my favorite time of the year. It is not too hot nor too cold and the leaves on the trees are beautiful.
-
So glad that it finally changing, the air feels fresher, crispy, wonderful. Give me Winter any time.
-
I love the change of seasons we get in the Midwest.
The color, frost, chill in the air. The drama of autumn leaves changing, falling, and blowing is such fun.
Winter's white frosting on leafless trees and brown grass is beautiful, though can be a challange to drive in, and shovel.
Spring's leaves popping out, grass greening up, the color of spring flowers. A hint of warmth, but still a bit cool.
The heat of summer in our gardens, and watching veggies, flowers, fruit coming out of the ground.
There are drawbacks to each season, and there are blessings/beauty for each season.
I relish the change to the new one, as I get tired of the current one.
Would not have it any other way.

Yes, you're right! According to the Farmer's Almanac the autumnal equinox occurred Sat., Sept. 22. The days have gotten noticeably shorter since then as the sun sets earlier. Warmer weather has continued to hang around these parts, but the recent, continuing rain we're getting now is starting to change all that -- it's been measurably unbelievable. And it's bringing cooler air. In Texas we have to get the gradual cooling in temps in order to get the colorful and spectacular fall foliage; otherwise, it goes straight to shriveled and brown.
-
And it still feels like summer outside in fall.
-
I like cooler weather and I'm tired of working in the garden, but we've some snow already and I'm not mentally prepared for that.
-
Yes, it is finally here. Better late than never but it is here. I am glad and I hope it stays that way. I was getting sick of summer. :peace:

:pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: Yes! the season's fall. The colors are changing, which makes beautiful colors. The weather has gotten cooler. Surly gonna miss the warmer weather, but seasons change. :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

I love autumn, but it has been colder than normal this month. The leaves haven't all changed yet, and it's snowing today. I'm not looking forward to having an early winter.
-
I like the autumn color change when we were living in Colorado, but it did make me dread the SNOW to come.
-
I love fall. The leaves changing colors, the crisp air and best reason ever, my anniversary is in October. We'll be celebrating 44 years in another week.
-
Fall is my favorite time of year also. I love the cooler weather, and the changing leaves.
-
I like fall, but it means winter is coming!
-
I love Fall.
-
I'm pretty excited for fall! Looking forward to Halloween and going to a pumpkin patch!
-
It sure is. Where I live it went from being super hot one day to super cold the next. No in between.
-
it turned cooler really fast in KY not much color in leaves yet
-
i so love the fall
-
According to a poll on a weather site, autumn (fall) is the most favorited season. I guess you get rather excited when Halloween is imminent. Halloween is the second most popular yearly festival!
-
This is my favorite time of year. I love Halloween. :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

We have had a few mornings where it was a little cool, but it still got into the 80's on those days. It's not far away though. Booo!! I was sweating today and I cherished it. Needless to say I don't like the cold.
-
I'm hoping for more of a traditional fall this year. Seems we have been going straight from summer to winter lately.
-
Not where I live unfortunately. Yesterday I was out and about running errands and complaining about how hot it was. When I checked the temperature for outside, it said 95 degrees at 5 o'clock in the evening.
-
I love this time of year....except for the flu going around!

I like fall. I didn't when I was young but I hate hot weather anymore so really look forward to fall. Monster Mash comes to mind in connection with Halloween.
-
I am so glad that fall is here. It has been so hot for so long that the cooler weather feels cold. But just need to get used to it after triple digit most of the time. Although it rained for 2 days and of course it was a lot colder. but today it has gottenup to 75 and will in the 60's Sat. It is still a lot better then Sept.
-
I love fall with all the colors from all the different trees so beautiful
-
Fall and Spring are my 2 favorite times of the year. Seems as I get older the extreme heat we have each summer is harder to deal with, as is the very cold of the winter. It is easier to wear sweaters around the house in the winter than it is to stay cool in the summer.
-
Finally starting to feel like it a little bit, yes!
-
I adore autumn, but its not the same when I was little. There's no gradual decrease in temperature -- it simply drops from the 80s and 70s to temps more appropriate for the end of fall, then dips quickly into winter weather. Climate change is real, and it's very disappointing and frightening to actually see and feel it happening already. :( :snowman:
-
I love the Fall weather, it's more comfortable, air is fresher, you can sit outside on the porch and feel the cool breeze blowing, it's my type of weather.
-
I actually like wearing the oranges and browns of fall. It feels official when I can put up my whites and pastel colors, and go darker. It was a big deal when I was growing up to never wear white after Labor Day. I don't think anybody pays that much attention to old timey traditions any more, but I still feel wrong if I wear white during fall and winter!
-
I love this season, 3 days from now going for my vacation to see all this leaves colors.
-
I love fall, but seems like it went by super fast, just as our leaves were turning we had storms come through and wipe out most of the leaves, snow will be falling very soon
-
Yah!
-
I enjoy fall more than any other season
-
It certainly is! We have been privy to an explosion of beautiful colors for the last five weeks in Colorado with caravans of people heading to the mountains each weekend just to bless their eyes with the glorious, golden aspen changes amidst the dense, dark green of the pine trees. It isn't nearly as beautiful as the east coast or Wisconsin autumnal foliage changes but certainly affords us the opportunity to celebrate the beauty this world affords us. I read a book several years ago, with a darker view, taken by an individual that likened the changing colors of fall to aging, a reminder of our mortality, and a path to everyone's eventual death. The leaves changing color, dropping from the tree, drying up and turning to dust was compared to human kind having their hair turn gray, falling out as we eventually expire, turn to dust/ash and retutn to the elements from where we began.
-
Now I have to say I think the beauty of the Colorado fall Aspens is incredible, I have never seen anything that could compare to it on the East Coast
-
Halloween is here and tomorrow is November
-
I  fall; even though, we don't get the real cool down like most states It's cooler than usual sometimes This Sunday is "Fall Back!"
-
I do love the cooler weather )OK so we are sissies I think the mid 80s is cool) and the fun October events, pumpkin patch, caring the pumpkins. trick or treating!
-
Its fall that is good and not summer too hot.
-
Our first snow fall was three days ago.
Now everything will white until next spring!
-
The leaves have changed colors and fallen on the ground. Although they are beautiful colors, they can give you a back ache raking them up.
