Did anyone go see the double feature?
i don't know if it was worth $60 (2ad and 3 child) and a 90 minute drive but, I love toy story and, it was much better in 3D.
they are just milking as much $ as they can out of the fans before they release toy story 3.
-
I love Toy Story too and I am planning on seeing it even though it is a bit more money than I'd like to spend.
-
I dont think it would be worth it. It just toy story 1 and 2 in 3d if it had toy story 3 I would think otherwise but since its only 1 and 2 with no extra features except the 3d I really think it is not worth it.
-
thats alot of money to spend just to watch a movie but with that said i do want to go and watch it too
-
The reason behind doing this is so they can make the box set of the 3 movies in 3-D when they are released in stores.

my son has been waiting to see the toy story movie. he loves watching 1 and 2. cant wait to take him!
-
My mom and siblings went to see it earlier today. I didn't really feel like going, so I didn't, but they seemed to really enjoy it.
I would not have payed that much money to go see it... it doesn't seem worth it to me, but maybe I am alone on that.

I love the toy story movies but honestly the 3D hurts my freaking head so bad!!
-
Haven't seen it but I know I won't pay that much and drive 45 minutes to watch it either.

Same here. I have an astigmatism in my left eye, and even though I enjoy some 3D movies, they give me a massive migraine for at least the rest of the day after watching.
On Topic: When I was young I watched the first 2 Toy Story movies and enjoyed them... but that was over 10 years ago. Now, with out any kids of my own, even though I was thinking of going with a female friend of mine, I just couldn't justify the price of the tickets plus price of the glasses (not sure about anywhere else, but at my local theatre, you have to pay an extra $3 per person for the glasses. and you're not allowed to reuse glasses you may have bought for a previous movie) and refreshments, when it would cost me about $3 to just rent them on DVD.

It is a great movie but I thinkthat it would be a very long movie having both of them together like that.
-
my son cannot wait to see Toy Story 3D. he already has pajamas and socks and reading their books.
-
I love Toy Story but never got around to watch it...what a bummer...

I think it was smart on the marketing side to release these movies in 3D in order to boost interest in Toy Story 3. However, I feel they are ripping us off with the skyrocketed prices to see these movies in 3D. The economy is in too poor a shape to be spending $75 to see 2 movies in one evening...and that is not counting the concessions and gas to get there. The holidays are just around the corner and I can find several ways to more responsibly spend that money. We will be seeing TS3, but the duo will not be seen by our family in 3D, in the theaters anyway.

i've never seen a movie in 3d before

TOY STORY IS ON MY LIST OF TOP ANIMATED CARTOONS.
-
I want to see it
-
I can't wait to see the third toy story. my son has been watching the first and second one almost constantly.
-
Nope...and at those prices, I'll wait for the DVD :)

My 3 year old daughter is totally hooked on Toy Story right now. That is the only movie she wants to watch right now. We want to go see it, but it is a little on the expensive side for me right now.
-
