Have you ordered products or christmas gifts from amazon yet?
So far I have ordered some hair products that are difficult to find in the store.
-
Not yet, but I certainly will at some point...
-
No not yet, wont start for another couple of weeks, just not into Christmas this year
-
I have ordered some toys and received them. I like to play with them before giving them at Christmas..you know, just to make sure they work okay.
-
No Christmas gifts yet, but lots of other things. I love Amazon
-
I've ordered a few things. I love Amazon but a bit upset. I've been a prime member for years and for me, it's always been a bargain because I use Amazon a lot, however, they recently have decided to give everyone free shipping for Christmas. While those getting it the shipping time will be a few days longer than Prime members I still feel like Prime members should have received some type of compensation. Still love Amazon and am happy for those folks who aren't Prime members.
-
I plan to start my Christmas shopping this Thursday. I look forward to getting some great deals.

I ordered from one company back in October. The sent 1 of the 3 items I paid for. Then when I called them I get the run around and they finally say they will ship the other 2 items "I SAY" I did not receive....
Are you calling me a liar here?
Then it took almost a month to get the other 2 items. It wasn't Amazon. Never had too much of an issue with them.
-
I have not do so yet. Probably some time next week I will begin to Christmas shop. Every year I say I will start earlier however I never do.
-
Ordered some things .they said because of the ca fires might be delayed. I got a package today Sunday very nice. Will order some more things. Do want to go into stores maybe a couple. I know yo7 can buy everything online and get cash back. Still might want to go into a store like macys it's so close to where I live.
-
I have ordered some things for the kids and grandkids, but I have to hurry up and order a lot more.
-
Yes, I've started my Christmas shopping with them. It's just so much more pleasant to shop online than go to a crowded store. I'll probably do all my Christmas shopping online.
-
Not yet. Waiting for the black friday sale to do all my shopping.
-
I ordered a couple of things that I need it to start the Christmas decorations in my house. But Christmas gifts not yet. I need to check my list and see what gifts to by my grandkids and others before I order.
-
I haven't yet but, I'm sure I will soon.
-
No. I never start holiday shopping until Black Friday at the earliest.
-
I've started Christmas Shopping on Amazon just the other day - as I was informed that Amazon has begun it's Black Friday sale early. I ordered a FIRE 10 Tablet -> normally $149 - sale price $99. :)
I also purchased, just today, STOK caffeine shots... can't wait, I need more caffeine in my coffee for some extra alertness during this holiday season. :)
-
I've ordered some great yankee swap gifts! Great thing about having such a dysfunctional family and a split family on my SO's side is that we have MANY swaps to enjoy!
-
Since Oct I became a prime member on Amazon, so I plan to purchase all my gifts off there
-
Haven't shopped yet but I'm sure I will. My kids put the grandkids suggestions on there and it makes shopping so much easier. I don't shop enough to warrant the expense of their Premier account though.
-
No, not really planning to use Amazon for now, I did however bought a good amount of stuff off Walmart.
-
Yeah, but I prefer to buy things for people whenever I notice them throughout the year, maybe hang onto some for birthdays etc but mostly I just give them at random.
To me, it means much more to receive a little "hey it's a random tuesday in May and I saw this thing I thought you'd like" gift than an "it's December 23rd and I'm panicking so here's some generic thing you'll never use because it's mandatory" gift.
-
I love amazon and always order with confidence

I probably would not order anything being shipped from California.

Not yet, I am sure I will eventually.

I order all year long from Amazon but haven't ordered any Christmas gifts, yet. My credit card (discover) is giving extra cashback for Amazon purchases this quarter.
-
Most of the gifts will come from Amazon. I've stockpiling all the Amazon gift cards I receive throughout the year just for this.

Discover usually does every last quarter of the year, and you can bet your cashback I take advantage! hahaha :glasses-nerdy:

I have ordered stuff for myself from Amazon but have not started Christmas shopping yet.
My sister and nieces all have Amazon so they let me know what it is that they found on Amazon that they want and I order it. It makes shopping a whole lot easier.
-
Amazon will be my primary shopping venue. This will be my third year of not going to any brick and mortar stores, dealing with parking, getting scuffled around by mad rushes of rude Christmas shoppers, putting miles on my car, wasting gas, dealing with inadequate inventory, and everything else that November and December have come to embody for so many people. We still have to go to the grocery store but, believe me, if I could find a way that met my finicky needs would be a thing of the past as well. Our grocery store workers are getting over thirteen dollars an hour which, to me, is pretty crazy. My day time company pays interns eighteen dollars an hour and these students have to have a grade point average greater than three point two percent. The interns are investing in themselves for a small amount more (in wages) than those who have invested nothing in themselves.

I've actually ordered gift items for friends in the UK from Amazon.co.uk (gift cards in £), but none for my US friends or family from Amazon.com yet.
I actually did a lot of my Christmas shopping on eBay last year. Great prices, some much better than Amazon, on new products!

I love Amazon. Just yesterday my wife comes into my computer room where I am working, carrying her laptop to show me what she wants for Christmas. It was a hot air deep fryer that makes french fries with no oil and I had it ordered in two minutes flat. One more thing off my mind for the next month.
-
i have ordered different items and havent had a problem even if i need to return items
-
Nopes, not planning to order anything from amazon this year.

I've heard of those. How do they work? Do you know? :confused1:

Not yet, but maybe on cyber Monday when online sale starts.
-
I've ordered a few things from there already.
-
I have not ordered any products from amazon yet. I just browsed the site today. I may order some things on Monday if they have some good deals for Cyber Monday going on.
-
I haven't ordered from there yet, but I think I will this weekend before the things that I want get sold out or go up in price. Somethings were already out of stock since black Friday.
-
I rarely use Amazon. My dad has Prime and almost always exclusively purchases from there, but I feel like a lot of the stuff isn't the best quality or is coming out of China (I prefer not to support China, for lots of reasons). My sister just tried to use her debit card on there for wishlist items an animal rescue had set up, and Amazon decided to wait a full week before trying to charge the card, and by then there wasn't enough left on it! I did hear 51% of shoppers will use Amazon for their holiday shopping, so I guess they've been getting a massive amount of traffic recently.
-
Not just for holiday shopping but because I can just order one item that I need at the time and not have to buy a bunch of it or other stuff to get free shipping. I also love that you can get vastly different things from Amazon, one-stop shopping!
-
Not yet!
-
Nope, but I'm about to soon.

If this is the air fryer they work great and are so much healthier. The basket is not that big but works well for 2 to 3 people. You can find lots of recipes online too .

I do most of my shopping on Amazon, I have prime and they have most everything I need. I also have a lot of gift cards that I get from survey sites
-
On black friday I bought a new laptop and a tablet from amazon. I had $160.00 worth of free credit and used it along with my paypal earnings. I paid zero out of pocket. I will build up my amazon credits again for next year. :)
-
We have so few people to buy for so no, I havent shopped for holiday though have ordered alot of things from them for our new home! Also bought a kindle so am purchasing books every couple of weeks!
-
No, but I have been looking at a few things and will start by the end of the week.
-
I sure have placed several Christmas orders with amazon (actually amazon smile, so my favorite charity will get a piece of the action too) and the stuff has arrived already too. I am an Amazon Prime member, so the free shipping usually makes that site the cheapest place to buy stuff that I can find.
-
I will be shortly
-
I have ordered a lot of stuff of amazon! I love it!
-
I'm half done and hope to finish up this week. Amazon is great for grandchildren to make a list and I can choose and buy from that. They even giftwrap - but it's a little expensive. But for me - worth it :)
-
I ordered one thing, a floor chair for hubby. He sits on the floor to watch TV using old pillows for his back and butt. I figure this might give him more support for his back. This will be the first year I bought him something for Christmas in 5 years. Usually we don't exchange gifts anymore. We both have everything we every wanted...well, I always want something but never tell him because I forget and don't really know what item would be more important. :)
Anyway, I got the floor chair in 3 days! That's been the usual delivery time here. I have never had a problem with them.

Thanks for answer, dsosnowski06. But I still wondered HOW they work. Here is an explanation that I found online:
It speedily circulates hot air around food to cook it quickly. While the air fryer has a removable basket like a deep fryer, instead of submerging the food into hot oil, the items in the basket are baked by the heat from air flowing around them.
Evidently, it's from circulating a whole lot of hot air. Just like me. :silly:

No, I have not and I am not sure I will this year.
-
No, not in awhile and no plans to order anything for the holidays.

You do coat the item (such as french fries) with a light coating of olive oil, but that is still a lot healthier than soaking them in it.

of course. And i will because my list is not done.
