Dear friends,
Recently I attempted to purchase a pair of Nike Mags like those from the Back to the Future 2 movie on a site located in China called DHgate, a site that I never used before (and doubt I ever will again!). The initial feedback I saw about the seller was positive and so I neglected to look at the other reviews on his store page that would have given me the dirty details which would have been eye opening. To make a long story short, I never received the sneakers I was really looking forward to getting but DHgate sent me an email this morning in reply to the dispute I filed saying I can expect a full refund.
It's possible that other sellers on DHgate are not dishonest like the one I was dealing with (didn't respond to any messages either) but I think from now on I'll shop on trusted sites like ebay and amazon. Not to say that those sites are perfect but they seem more trustworthy than other merchants. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes of saving you some disappointment and frustration.

I did not read all of your post. I stopped when you said bad experience and the company you ordered from is located in CHINA. That should be enough to tell you not to order. smh.
I did order on Amazon once and just caught CA and thought it was coming from California and then realized it came from Canada. It turned out okay though.

You're right countrygirl but it's the only site that sells these famous sneakers at a reasonable price and I hate to discriminate because a company is in a foreign country. Sometimes you gamble and lose, at least I'll get my money back. I've done business with people from England and Canada too, no problem. Crooks come from all corners!

It is not discriminating. SMH I do not give my credit card info to companies that seem shady or that are not a well known or proven company. That is not discrimination. That is protecting me and being safe.
