There have been a notice of a breach on twitter. Users have to change their passwords, the use of technology can be dangerous. Hopefully it was ok for me to make this known. Anyone else heard of this?

Hello! :D :)
No, I haven't heard of this on any of my accounts. Hopefully, all my accounts are in good standing as I need them for work. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Thanks for letting us know. I had not heard of it. I very seldom use twitter.

What? Where did you get this info? I have not seen that yet. If you saw it somewhere then yeah it is fine to share the info.

I have Lookout security on my cell and received the alert. Twitter users should reset their passwords, and make sure that their potentially compromised password isn't being used on any other websites you visit/use.
Last month, twitter noticed a large number of inquiries from Chinese and Saudi Arabian IP addresses, driving them to believe the attack ties to state-sponsored actors. The intent of the breach is not known, yet the hackers were able to view Twitter's user's country code of their phone numbers. Twitter has informed affected users, locked accounts which appear to be compromised, and reported the security issue is resolved.

Don't do Twitter...don't even like my Facebook page...get tired of seeing what people had for dinner or where they are right now... ::)

I really hate it when I have to change passwords when things like these happen sadly good thing I don't really care about my twitter lol.

I have not heard of a twitter breach. But it would not surprise me. They are so many now.

Remember when people actually left the house and did things?
Now, people just sit around and type on Facebook to let others know what mundane things they are doing.
I don't need to know or see what someone had for lunch. People have become so self-involved.
We don't talk TO each other anymore; we talk AT each other.
Major difference.

Hmmm. I googled and the only thing I found was from 3 years ago. If they have had a massive breach then they should make it more public. They are good at keeping crap under wraps.

No. I certainly hope there isn't a breach.

I'm active on Twitter & haven't heard anything about a breach... but I am going to change my password because I have over 13,000 followers & would hate to have to start another account from scratch. Best to be safe than sorry. Thanks for the heads-up :)
