Title: Twilight Zone Marathon
Post by: dreamyxo on January 01, 2019, 08:54:00 pm
Anyone still watching?  This is one of my favorite shows.  I've probably seen all of them but I will watch them over and over.  I love this time of year because I look forward to the marathon. What's your favorite episode?

Rocky Valentine thinks hes in heaven but really in @ell cos he wins all the time and always gets his way and the boredom of it gets to him.Sebastian Cabot plays a devilish charactor not revealed till the end.

One of the earlier episodes of the show that ran about 4 yrs.

I used to watch the TZ marathon. But in recent years, TCM has been playing The Thin Man movies on NYE/NYD. I love Nick and Nora.

I like watching the TZ marathon.  I like the episode with Anthony.  Or the episode with Talky-Tina doll.

I put it on this year because hubby likes it. I saw most of them when it was new in the 60s. Nothing better to do because I was always being grounded for something. :)

Wow picking a favorite is really, really hard but the one that immediately came to mind was the one where the guy loves reading and wants peace and quiet and makes everyone disappear and then his glasses break and he can't read man that was disturbing.  I am 65 and have watched all of them so many times I don't watch the marathon anymore.  If my hubby were alive I can promise you we would he would insist on it LOL

I haven't seen the Twilight Zone in years, I didn't know there was a marathon running, or I would have turned it on... nostalgia for sure.  I used to really like them when I was younger, then they made a Twilight Zone movie where they redid some of the favorites into a movie.

I liked so many of them, but the one of many worth a mention would be the one To Serve Man.... where the aliens were not really "serving" man, as in aiding them, they were herding them & shipping them out to actually serve them up as a main course... To Serve Man was a cookbook.

I have to be honest.  When I clicked on this I was thinking of the Twilight movies.  But I have never seen the Twilight Zone. But you have gotten me curious about checking it out.
