Title: 18 degrees here in Michigan
Post by: melodylogan45 on January 11, 2019, 04:50:56 am: Well, it is freezing here in Michigan, but we do not have snow yet. I am not in a rush for it either. I am not a fan of driving in it.

It even got warmer the first part of January---up to 45! VERY warm for January.

As long as the wind isn't blowing, temperatures 20 and above seem almost "balmy" and pleasant. When the wind blows, the windchill almost takes your breath away.

Currently it is just raining and frankly I hope it stays that way because I have to do a lot of running around tomorrow because of commitments I have made.

I usually try to avoid making doctors appointments and such during the winter because I really hate driving in the snow. LOL.

Wow, that's cold, I'm in New York and it is not as cold. The weekend started off with a cold soaking rain on Friday evening and never got any better. Just cold to the bone, gray-skies type weather. We are promised a warming trend; then next weekend the bottom drops out due to a strong cold front.
