We seem to be having a hard time getting and keeping snow around here. My granddaughter is coming to stay with me for a year and is looking forward to playing in the snow. She's from AZ so doesn't get much opportunity to see snow. We didn't get snow until just last week, or at least not anything to write home about. A dusting for Christmas. Then it all melted off. Now we finally got some significant snow but it's supposed to get up in the 40s by the weekend and RAIN! RAIN! So, there goes all the snow again. Then it's suposed to get colder, again, and snow but not much.

Where are you? We get quite a bit of snow. We got a foot in the last storm.

I am glad we aren't getting anymore snow. I HATE snow, it causes too many problems.

Yesterday was in the 50's and today got up to 64 so most of our snow is gone. I even got out on the deck and cleaned our sliding glass door. :)

Still have piles in the backyard because that is we put to clean the driveway. Even the rain last night did not melt it all.

I am just as happy with no snow. I like to watch it when their is no accumulation.

Snow is a four letter word to me.... :bad:

We rarely get snow where I live and that's just fine with me. It's just a added stress for me when we do get it. Having to drive on icy and snowy road....no thank you!

I don't know where you are, but the situation is the same here in northern NJ. Not only is it bad for your granddaughter, I wonder how much affect having so little snow is going to have on all the trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. this coming spring. I don't think it is good for them not to have enough moisture over the wintertime.

We have some snow in PA this time of the year and a lot of cold weather.
