We all have to die sometime. Why should there be such a thing as immortality?! Doris Day was old and therefore wouldn’t have had a good chance of living much longer. I even said that I still found her death sad.

Post by: 1imaginarygirl on May 14, 2019, 06:04:22 pm: Lovely lady. She had such a bright and beaming smile. Her movies are usually a little too fluffy for me, but I will watch one every now and then. I have always admired her love for animals. Although I was a little disappointed to hear that she wouldn't stay with her pets when they were euthanized. I know how hard it is, but I think we owe it to them to not abandon them in their final moments. Anyway, she lived a long and hopefully happy life. I read that she didn't want a funeral or a headstone. She doesn't need one. She's already been immortalized in her movies and songs.

Yes, I heard about her death it truly saddens me even though it is a part of life. May she rest at peace along with her son.
