Post by: babypolotb on October 10, 2009, 11:05:15 am
HI MY SON IS TWO YEARS OLD AND I AM HAVING A HARD TIME TRYING TO LOSE THOSE 44 POUNDS THAT I GAIN WHEN HAVING THIS BOY! WOO MAN, I REALLY DID OVER EAT WHEN I WAS PREGO WITH HIM AND NOW I AM PAYING THE PRICE FOR IT.  IT IS SOO HARD! ANY ADVICE FROM MOTHERS OUT THERE OR JUST ANYBODY?

I am not a mama yet, but I think you can lose that "baby fats" or post preg fats just by eating healthy foods, if you are breastfeeding, your baby needs nutrients from you.  YOu can also try jogging in the morning while taking your baby in a stroller.  I saw mothers here in our place and they jog everyday, altogether with their babies with them :binkybaby: :)

All of the above really.
Keep your metabolism up mainly!! Caffeine, spicy foods, among other things can help, even sweating can help.
You are what you eat, and exercise is KEY!
Eating healthy will do NOTHING if you're not exercising.

Take up hula hooping! It's fun! You have to get a "dance hoop" that's weighted. YOu can buy kits that have exercise hoops in them and dvd's. Don't bother with the kids hoop you find at walmart, they won't work for this.
Have fun and good luck!

I lost all my weight after I had my son but now since I have had my daughter I can't shed the baby fat. My daughter is about to be 4 in two months and Im STILL trying to lose it! Ive changed my eating habits and now Im trying to stay away from the soda and candy. Ive weighted 145 since I got my tubes tied and that was on Jan 4, 2006

Sit ups worked wonders after I had my second child. There are all different types you can try not just the regular old fashioned sit ups.  Good luck
