I can not recall ever having a snow storm in June so I think that it is a safe time to begin planting. We got a snow storm last week and suffered some tree damage but I think that we are in the clear with many sunny days ahead. We have been in the high seventies for two days and no rain in sight. Getting back to nice weather, after rain in Europe, was a nice welcome home. Our first local festival of the season was this weekend and I went to the Farmer's market this morning. Most of the vegetables were not Colorado grown but it was nice to pick up some nice sauces and get the dogs out for a walk. Dinner on the patio is in the plans for this evening: nice glass of wine, salmon on a plank, asparagus and roasted potatoes. Good luck to all in hitting your goals this month!

WE lived near Telluride and a couple of years had a freeze on the 4th of July, Luckily i was not a hard freeze. HOPE the weather is good from now on out for all of us!

I always look forward to June where I live because we get all 4 seasons with a true winter, spring, fall and summer and I know June will truly be nice weather after all the dreary winter and fall. I don't look forward to the hot muggy days later in the summer since it gets very humid here, but the 70 degree days that are breezy and balmy are nice when you can leave your window open and just enjoy them.
