Want to see Bernie and Joe. They are older but still capable. Not to interested but will watch somebofbit.are you gonna watch .
-
Nope not going to watch
-
I tried to watch a little. I would like to make an informed choice when Election Day comes.
-
I watched parts of the debate. But Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamela Harris seemed to be the strongest candidates. Joe Biden seems to be catching up in trying to win.
-
No I am not going to watch. They are all sick. I don't think bernie boy could ever be elected but if he was to be this country is done. We are truly living in scary scary times.
-
none have facts, they just talk about their feelings, they also come up with anything that will ignite the right
-
Democrat debates Circus, NO WAY!
-
I like Bernie & probably would have voted for him in the 2016 elections if the Democrat Super Delegates didn't put Hillary on the ballot. Joe Biden is the only one that doesn't seem angry all the time, although I don't think he would be a good President. I like Tulsi Gabbard, she would be my choice.
Kamala would be a nightmare & by far the absolute worst choice, she is awful as a California Senator, I don't know how she got elected over the other Democrat Sanchez running on the 2016 CA Senate ballot. Horrible.

I watched them both in their entirety. I won't be voting for any of them, but I figured I should probably see what they have to say at least. I was quite unimpressed the first night, especially when Beto and Booker and Castro all felt the need to pander to the Spanish speaking viewers and then one of the moderators got in on the charade. If the questions are being asked to you in English, answer them in English. If you want to pander to the Spanish speaking voters - schedule another debate with Spanish-speaking moderators on a Spanish only channel. If anyone believes I am being insensitive here - my apologies.
The best part of the first night was when the NBC microphones were all out of whack and they had to go to a break to fix the problem. The moderators (especially Rachel Maddow) were absolutely awful, but there is hope for each of them if their broadcasting careers ever end - they each have a future in professional softball leagues.
Night two was not much better, but there was one D candidate that I found slightly palatable. More for his personality than his policy - I have a few ounces of respect for Andrew Yang. He was the most respectful and dignified IMO. Every other candidate tried to weasel in at every opportunity and wouldn't shut up when their time expired. Yang was the only one who actually respected the rules and the rights of the others to speak without interruption or talking over them. When asked to give a one or two word response - he DID so. On those grounds, I would consider voting for him if there were no better options.
All in all - it is four hours I will never get back. But I can afford to waste a little bit of time here and there.

Andrew Yang said his mic was turned off & they, MSNBC, only turned it on when he was "allowed" to speak.

It was pretty much a battle royale but that's what you would expect at the beginning. Everyone is trying to get airtime so people will know who they are.
-
I will wait until they choose one or two of them, then I will listen to the debates.
-
I tried to watch it, but sadly to say none of them interested me and I ended up taking a short nap both nights. I will watch it a little more as time goes in. What I did hear is yadayada and so on. No real meat. But they sure know how to trash President Trump.
-
I wanted to watch but I don't get the channel, I would have liked it to be on cbs. oh well!
-
I couldn't take the first night and did watch from 9:30 ET.I thought it was a riot. They all have the same idea, dump Trump. The arguing and trying to out yell the others made me laugh. The desperation is in their voice. Biden took his nice guy mask off against Harris. She's totally evil. Since I didn't see the first night, I'm only guessing on the first night but it seemed like every time Delaney wanted to speak, MSNBC shut him down. You could see the moderators were quite discriminatory. Maybe I wasn't seeing the whole story but they seemed to only call on a couple all night....yet NONE of them gave any solutions. Everything was their ideas and it seemed like everything is for the illegals.
A Question: How old is Harris? She was only 7 when the Supreme Court heard Swann v. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. I don't know about you but at 7, I didn't know what was going on in the country and didn't care. I just did what I was told.
-
Open borders? Higher taxes? Giving illegal aliens free healthcare? No thanks.
-
I believe none are christians, so not worth anything
-
There is no way I could stomach watching that.
-
I'm done with politics, so pass.
-
If debates were really debates anymore, I would enjoy watching each side do that. Intelligent debate can be very enlightening.
But now what they call debates just seem to be sensationalistic and trying to get people angry with one another. And when you're angry, you don't think, so that's not a good thing. :P

If within the first few minutes there were some chuckles....sure.......but if it got boring....CYaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
-
I want to be an informed voter so I watched all of each night. It helped me narrow down the people I am interested in because I am voting Democratic without a doubt. I thought some of the candidates had some thoughtful and practical ideas but others not so much. English is not the official language of this country so I did not mind a few sentences in Spanish. We are supposed to be a country of diversity.
-
:silly:
:cat:
I read the news about this only to find out who has the biggest fish to fry!!
You only get the main topics anyway, so it's a day to day battle to keep the bills and laws aligned with the peoples' wishes!!
Or they do this!! (see below)
-
Democrats put the "D" in D-BAG.... :bad:
-
I will be watching, want to hear what they all have to say.
-
Politics!!! It's all a game to those people. They aren't working to help you, it's all about getting to know the person who can help them to move up the ladder. I do wonder why people believe all that they say. They tell you what you want to hear. >:(

Precisely what Jesus meant when he said when u know the truth it sets u free from all this BS.

Will pay closer attention later. Politics will be crammed down our throats in a few months anyway with all the LIES and ads from all sides. I want to enjoy my summer right now.

If you are voting Democrat without a doubt, then what difference does it make to narrow down who you are interested in?

This has nothing to do with 'diversity.' The fact that someone is fluent in Spanish does not - in and of itself - make that candidate better suited to be President of the U.S. But they will go off board and speak in Spanish to try to convince the Spanish speaking voters that they are in solidarity. Absolute pandering in my view when the reality is that many of the non-Spanish speaking candidates care just as much and intend to do just as much for the Spanish speaking population.
